Goodbye to the "Story of Kunning Palace" and all of the fans who had a part in the conversations, happiness, and sorrows that we experienced. I will truly miss the show a lot, as it provided me with my daily dose of entertainment. I will also miss my favorite characters, XN and XW. I hope that we all get together for dramas in the future. Few words to describe this drama; the main lead's chemistry, performance, and storyline were all fulfilling.
I am aware that there are differing views among fans on the cave kiss scene; some believe the kiss was awkward or forced, while others think it was a necessary kiss. Here's my two cents on the kiss: sure, it was forced, but from XW's perspective, he was unwell, had been bitten by a snake, was insecure, and was fleeing so much that XN wanted to leave him alone after all of their ups and downs. He thought XN was still in love with ZZ, therefore perhaps insecurity or jealousy led to that kiss. Nevertheless, I support that kiss 😘 I'm not romanticizing the kiss but this kiss kinda answers many questions between XN & XW
