I’d also want to recommend A Tale of a Thousand Stars, from the same director of Bad Buddy. Both leads have great chemistry and really good morals from each episode. Great cinematography and also not set in the Uni 😊

I don’t think they’re holding it, it was originally rumoured/announced that it will air around march after Not Me but it seems like disney+ hotstar bought exclusive rights to air it in advance in their platform. That’s why theres all this confusion about the airing, GMMTV didn’t make it clear.

According to people who read the novel, Earths already inlove with Mix even before the swap. This is more on Mix realizing his feelings for Earth while in the sisters body and also regretting pushing Earth away in the first place.

I’m not a fan of body swap too and i know some people wished that EM was given a different or better storyline but for a body swap BL i feel like they’re doing it right. I think some people already have a preconceived view on body swap so they don’t give a show a chance or already doesn’t like it from the beginning and might just find flaws in it (not the original commentor but audience in general 😅).

Agree, some people were traumatised by earlier body swap shows and are complaining even without watching the show. As i’ve mentioned before, Korn was already inlove with Win even before the swap and their adventure is more for Win to discover his feelings for Korn. But for some people who loathe body swapping, the circumstances around the swap wouldn’t matter and whether the boy is in the girls body or vice versa it’ll always be weird for them or feel like a fake BL either way so theres really no way to satisfy everyone.

Honestly, i watched the Taiwanese Meteor Garden, which was a phenomenon during that time when i was so young, but i’m not sure if its any good now with how old it is. The japanese was good, korean was ok and then after that i stopped watching other version because it just felt repetitive and boring since you know what’ll happen next 😅 can’t even be sure but i think there were 2 chinese version in the past years 😊

Then the first live tv show adaptation was the Taiwanese - Meteor Garden around 2001 followed by the Japanese - Hana Yori Dango 2005 and then the Korean - Boys Over Flower 2009. And then a Chinese version and most recently the Thai one 😊

I’m sure there are some more that i haven’t heard of but those are just some of the most popular versions 😊

It’s actually the other way around, it’s the brother inside his sisters body. It’s clear even before the swap that Earths character has feelings for the brother, he knows the brother is inside the sisters body thats why he sees the brother most of the time even if in reality he’s interacting with the sister physically. Alot of people who read the book actually said that this is more of the discovery of the brother/Mix’s feeling (while he’s in the sisters body) for Earth since Earth already knows he likes the brother from the start so no confusion there😊

And genuine question, why would people rate the show low if they’re not watching or don’t plan on watching it? I think the low rating right now are mostly from fans who can’t watch the show like usual.

The rating is bad because some fans are angry they can’t watch it on youtube and are rating it down 😅

I think it’s because a lot of viewers both local and international check out a shows rating before watching or giving a show a chance. Low rating means less chance of reaching a wider audience and new fans for the artists. Less chance for them to get booked for endorsement and future shows. Especially GMMTV shows which relies alot from interfans too not just local ratings to bring in the money (from PP and merch to name a few) 😊

Some fans said that the body swap wasn’t the main thing in the novel, more on the family issue/will plot. I’m hoping p’aof saw something in this that made him choose this as the next project for EM 🤞🏻I’m ready to be surprised 😁

I understand what you mean with the body swap trope, its always gonna be tricky. Because like this, Mix in his sisters body, as you said feels weird to you (even if its still Mixs soul). And if its the other way around, the sisters in Mix’s body might also still be weird for you (as you said would be like a fake bl since its still the sisters soul). For a BL body swap story i think they’re doing it right but yeah if someones not a fan of body swap either way i think theres gonna be concern/issue 😊 i’m not trying to be sarcastic or something i hope it didn’t sound like that 😅

Yes, according to the people who read the novel Mix’s body is in a coma and the sisters soul is lost so they have to find the holy water so they can go back to their original bodies.

Physically in the show yes, but the show made it so Earth and the viewers still see Mix most of the time instead of the sister. From the trailer it looks like Jan appears every now and then but mostly the interactions are between Earth and Mix 😊
