Yeah now with many shows it feels that 40 episodes is too much
And idk if you might agree this is especially the case with modern dramas
Since a year I have been struggling with modern dramas with 40 episodes…Hidden Love was the best example of how many episodes a modern drama must have

I have actually yet to watch both Love Like Galaxy and Joy Of Life
Am planning to watch them soon

My favourite historical drama so far has been Wonderland Of Love and Who Rules The World in Wuxia genre

Every 2 days I write this but honestly it’s not enough
I was anticipated to watch this because I really like the FL so I didn’t get the impression of people calling it a dark horse in cdramas although I understand since it didn’t have a grand budget and not much promotions were done before its release
But this honestly is my favourite cdrama this year…idk how many may agree but somehow I like this so much more than The Double…the storytelling and pacing and chemistry everything is hitting the right notes for me in Blossom
The director is really really talented…he has literally made most of the top rated short length series and now his full length series is so popular
Really waiting to see more of his work

I read that this drama is of A/S grade
That is just below S+ and mostly S+ are the ones with grand sets and in case of xianxia they have high CGI and all and yes costumes also play a big part in budget
In this drama in terms of set I feel its not that grand or tbh they are decent sets unlike S+ where you can see big court scenes with plenty of officials and big hallways and different palaces for different casts…here all that is not there which I guess saved huge money because making/arranging grand sets costs a lot
Also this is more story focused and everything seems to be on point without wasting screen time so maybe at such points money was saved and put into what actually makes a good drama like good costumes and good post production

This is all my guess…maybe I am thinking in the wrong direction

I saw in an interview that leads did mention about a happy ending
So if we are to hope that’s true what they said then yes he will be cured of it

This literally showed everyone that you dont need leads who are very very famous for a drama to win hearts
I hope MZY and LYR get S+ dramas now
