Somehow this drama became slow for me since last 4-5 episodes Maybe because of the harsh scenes of SFL…I had to watch that on 1.5 so it could be over And since then I’m finding the drama to have lost pace The drama is still good but idk I just skip scenes to parts with only the leads

Had to be so it cant be just because he doesnt want to keep ties with Xie family There are so many dramas where one of the leads family has cause pain to the others but still it was always love conquers all I mean he loves her so much it was obvious he did this since he was not in good health I haven’t seen any teaser or so of 21-22 but this was kind of predictable(the reason behind him sending that divorce letter)
It honestly felt like those short 3-4 min series with 90-100 episodes on apps like dramabox In terms of genres…I feel Romance should be removed, there was literally no romance Only ML loved her I felt FL never understood the ML until the last episode This did seem interesting in the initial 2-3 episodes but honestly I felt it wasn’t worth watching
I really like watching Zhao Jia Min’s dramas and so I started this but honestly I was initially excited for this because it was a revenge storyline but I would never recommend this My opinion might differ but if I were asked, definitely not worth watching Keeping the story and everything else aside, I couldn’t get the chemistry

Yeah agreed But if you were to exactly listen to the last dialogue of ep 4 he said that ‘even my parents didn’t come to my competition but it was only you who even missed her mock exams and came’ something like that and since that day I’ve never stopped liking you As far as I remember something like this
I saw a comment somewhere saying that the ML and SFL will not have many scenes together because Kdramas are tailored…
Yeah I’ve seen this many times now but Idk why this can’t be changed Ik viewership is everything but in some dramas especially in this where ML and SFL have history I at least personally expect they have ample scenes too🥲
The reason even I didn’t get In one of the scenes she did mention they went on 3-4 dates when they were abroad And exactly at the time of that kiss she forced it on sml saying you can’t be the one who is breaking up, I’m breaking up and like angrily kissed Idk remember exactly but that kiss didn’t make sense to me at all…although sml didn’t want to kiss her in that scene is for sure, he only like FL now

Just finished 2nd ep and cant express how much I’m liking this drama It’s just soooo good And after so much time I’m feeling I’ll get a great elder brother character Also all songs are really great And I couldn’t have asked for a better pacing If this continues to be this good it’s definitely entering my top 3 A short drama checking all the points is the best thing one can ask for

The best example I can think is of who rules the world where ML’s hair turns white because he used his power to save FL and had only ten years remaining then Maybe in this too its something like that, or he might have found a way to remove the poison from his body but had his life shortened
I mean even after all the pain the emperor cause the second couple did he have to make FL’s brother kneel down for them as a step And ep 16…such a harsh fate, I mean you want to show how miserable the fate of the second couple is I get it, at least let him meet her the last time😭😭 Although there wasn’t much for the main leads in today’s episodes, it surely was quite painful
