Literally same here. I was excited for S2 but then lost interest for S3 but decided to give it a go and 2 episodes in and I am now just continuing for the sake of finishing it since I have already watched 2 and might as well complete the series.
Its definitely worth a try though. I find it slow but still its good and especially I have really liked Wang Chu Ran in fireworks of my heart so was excited for another drama of hers and I have also liked Zhang Wan Yi in Xianxia and Wuxia dramas so this one is surely worth a try. The interactions between the leads in the initial episodes are quite funny too

I have seen Chen Xing Xu in The Starry Love, Our Interpreter and Fall In Love and after watching 3 dramas for me at least I dont find similarities. Both are great though.
