I feel like every episode I say, this is my favourite episode and then the next episode comes and I think no this definitely is my favourite episode. I think that speaks volumes about the consistent quality of this show!!

This would of been perfect to watch if it was like the big hit ( American movie) where the kidnapper and the kid…
In the kdrama I Picked Up a Star on the Road, the kidnapper and the person kidnapped fall for each other. Though that show is very different and way less intense and was a rom com.

Given the overwhelming amount of negative comments I read here, I thought this wasn't going to be good but it was surprisingly entertaining. I'd say ignore the negative comments and give the drama a shot.

I'm so angry that this was directed by two dudes! They ruined an excellent story. Why would they make it slow…
Omg the direction in this show almost made me drop it. The lighting and the weird camera angles were driving me insane!

Person Woo Do Hwan
Only recently discovered him (from Eternal Monarch lol) and he's actually really talented! Will go back and watch some of his other works. (Just finished My Country)

I believe he was just pretending not to know her in front of the royal guards!
Ah ok! Thanks for the reply!

Idk if I missed something in the scene/ didn't interpret it correctly but when Jo Young spotted Lee Gon and Jang Tae Eul in the bamboo forest, why was he looking for Lee Gon, if he remembers everything then he should have known who Tae Eul was...? I thought that they had travelled to the Kingdom of Corea in Lee Gon's present time and if that is so then Jo Young should have known where Lee Gon was disappearing to and shouldn't have been in the forest looking for him....? Did I miss something???

So in the end My man LR did not even put up a fight to save his life...whether in 1994 or 2020 especially against…
Lol completely agree with LR point! I think them remembering everything was a fluke, because of that one scene with the yoyo boy where was all that's left are memories and I thought it would break (something like that). My interpretation is that they just by chance happened to remember everything and yoyo boy was trying to decide if to leave their memories in tact or remove them (but Idk it might be a stretch lol)

In that scene end of ep15 when LG and LR met on the street, was in the Republic or Kingdom? Sorry am abit confused
I thought he was in the Republic. I assumed that the street LR went to was close to where LG's 'mother' was. I was assuming that she told LG that LR would be coming to visit her so that LG could ambush him (based on the previous conversation when they met briefly, she asked him to come see her 2 days before the death anniversary). So I don't think LR was fully expecting to see LG there because LG should not have known about that place. But because the time stopped I guess he kinda knew that LG was there and I'm guessing he went outside in the first place to try to kill LG when time was frozen. That's my take on it at least (they didn't give us too much to work with though but this how I chose to make sense of it lol)

Episode 11 was really great but 12 was a little bit of a let down though not entirely terrible. One thing I really like about Tae Eul is how entirely competent and badass she was escaping her kidnappers! She didn't make dumb decisions and was willing to fight to the death. It was pretty refreshing to see and I don't think she got enough credit for it.

Damn, this drama is really good. And I don't say that lightly. The romance is it's weakest part to be honest,…
Omg yes I feel like Tae Eul didn't get enough credit for her escaping the bad guys scene! She was entirely competent and made smart choices

That's what annoys me more because I have seen bts of them and they're cute! It just doesn't come across on screen well (at least to me).

Just out of curiosity, what was the other drama you referred to here?

Okay so from what I understand is that there is a time skip in this episode, right? When the emperor left to go…
I was assuming around 2 weeks passed just because during the time he was at war Tae Eul was trying to solve the case where gambler was accused of murder and I think she was only in the Kingdom of Corea for 2 days and later when she was listening to the voicemail they said the deadline to provide evidence was soon.
