Yes, it's bromance but whatever it is, main role's acting are incredible. Just slight touch, the tinest movement,…
I'm sure they are good actors, but my opinion still stands. Hopefully China gets rid of that ban, so that what is supposed to be a gay romance can stop being reduced to "bromance". It leaves some very important relationship developments out (and no, I am not just talking hugs, kisses, etc).
The fact that their relationship has to be reduced to "slight touches" or "smiles", etc. and basically "open for interpretation" is just sad imo and a turn off. :\
Yeah, I won't be investing my time in this. It's such a turn off for me when the original novel is BL, but the drama ends up being bromance (or worse, turned to a straight romance), and on top of that, it's for a homophobic reason (I know it's not the author's fault, but yeah). I watched a few episodes to get the looks of the characters in my mind for the novel, but that's it.
Me: This looks interesting. Wonder what it's about? :D
*Sees country is China*
Me: Oh. :(
I am going to wait until this series is finished before I watch. I am seriously at a point where I am going to give up Chinese bl dramas/movies until they change that ban. So tired of good bl stories being turned to bromance or bad endings.
Still since because the novel is very very popular, I had a bit of hope. *sigh*
