It was not what I had expected. Not even close. I thought it'ld be like one of those real, gritty and prison movies like drama (I hadn't read the synopsis lol. Decided to watch as soon as I saw the first poster lol, not the current one). But it turned out to be a normal makjang we see in dramas..almost every other drama. I was a little disappointed in the first ep. since it was totally different from what I was expecting. But 22 eps down and now I am really enjoying. I am a makjang lover after all lol.
Ah I think I know. The hospital scene I am guessing since everyone seems to have loved that scene and probably shed a tear or two. Somehow I didn't. I usually do lol.
I love Sageuks and I love SIG. Prince Gwanghae's life doesn't really interest me (blame Goddess of Fire for it lol) but I have been waiting to start this drama. SIG's first ever sageuk after all. However, I tried to get a sneak peek of it during my lunch hour and I am not feeling it at all. First few minutes and I feel like I will regret if I continue watching it. I like dramas which grab my attention in the first 5 mins. Somehow this drama isn't giving me that feeling. I usually don't drop dramas once I start but since I have only watched a few minutes I wouldn't mind dropping it off my list. However, looking at all the positive comments here gives me hope and strength to carry on. I was probably just lazy (ready to doze off) after a heavy lunch or influenced by the low viewership ratings when I started this today. lol. Anywho, I have decided to keep watching. I will coming back later (maybe after a few more eps) and let you all know if you guys have saved me from losing out on a good drama or pushed me into watching a boring one lol.

LMAO..High 5! I am having a tough for the same reason as you lol. I was really looking forward to watching this drama but the over the top acting of the actors are making me cringe the whole time. I have only watched 2 eps too. I am enjoying the storyline but the acting..aigooo *smh*. Such try hards. I am embarrassed. Old school acting lol.
Now I know why KYJ was removed after the 14th or 16th ep. It wasn't because the storyline was turning mature. It was because the adult Ji Dam barely had few scenes in the remaining eps. It would have been a waste of KYJ's talent had she continued to be in the drama. So I am actually happy and relieved they decided to let KYJ go. Lol.

I almost gave this drama a miss because I saw Sun Hwa. And then I looked around and saw the little girl (Cho Rong) in the poster. So I decided to give it a try. I am only upto ep 8 so I haven't yet seen her. Hopefully I get to see her in the next few eps. It's been okay so far. Actually better than my expectations.

I can't bring myself to watch ep. 17. lol. But I will somehow. Will skip chunks of it I know but I will still watch it. And then 3 more eps to go, can't wait to take it off my list. I wish I could drop it but I just can't. That's just me lol. And I hate this side of me lol.

The casting is just brilliant. Powerful performances by one and all especially Han Seok Kyu. He just takes my breath away. As for Lee Je Hoon, I have loved him for a long time now. He is such a talented young man. I am glad he chose a powerful piece like Secret Door for his comeback project.
Like you I am sort of fascinated by Prince Sado. I have read whatever little info there is available on the internet. Can't wait to watch the movie Sado. Another brilliant casting. Yoo Ah In, Song Kang Ho..enough said!

Because I am the type who has to finish a drama once I start it. That's just me, can't help it. It's some sort of a disease. But this drama is a load of crap. The two Infinite boys can't act to save their lives. I used to like Woo Hyun before this drama happened. He is sweet as an idol but as an actor hmmm he needs some serious lessons. The other guy is worse. What makes it worse for me is that a fine actress like KSR has been tainted by these non actors around her. lol. And last but not the least, the dialogues in this drama makes me cringe...especially between KSR and Woo Hyun. So yeah I am hating it but I will complete it somehow lol. And if that bothers you then I am sorry I don't care lol.

I only started it because of Kim Sae Ron and even she is doing a bad job. Cast her with great actors she does excellent. Cast her with bad actors, she does even worse than them aigoo lol. I realised she is just a director's actor. The plot is crap anyway so can't help it. 4 more eps to go. I wish someone would cut the eps down already.

I watched the 1st episode of the J version and dropped it. The acting was too over the top, caricaturish and immature for me to handle even though I like both Tamaki and Ueno Juri. I am downloading the K version because I love JW and SEK. I think they are both fantastic actors. I am just hoping it's not the exact copy of the J version. If the writers have tweaked the plot to fit the K viewers then I might enjoy it. Keeping my fingers crossed and continuing to download the episodes. I hope I am not disappointed. I am pretty sure SEK and JW will do their part. If the plot itself is boring they can't really help it now can they?! hehh
