According to this latest teaser by Nadao, I think it’s gonna be HE, do u all think this latest teaser represents…
I think it could be Oh and Teh, but maybe as friends..? it doesn't look like they are too closed in the image + from the EP5 teaser they released it looks like Oh and Bas are a thing.. I am legit worried that Teh will not get the happy ending he deserves...
Why are they so mean to us? why does every episode has to be roller coaster of emotions? I love this show and this is by far the best BL show I think there is. Hand down to 'Nadao Bangkok' for setting a new (and very high) bar for drama shows (and BL in particular). I don't think a new show at this level would emerge any time soon, but I sure do hope other production will go this line and step up their game..! everyone would win(!)
Beautiful start, I really wasn't expecting it to be this good, though it was gonna be just another BL, but NOPE, it looks like a great show and I really hope they will continue this path.
Hard to watch film, shows disturbing and hard to watch scenes from the male prostitution world, please make sure you can handle a movie like this before..
Seriously what even is this show? I am actually crying, like practically sobbing.
This show is so relevant, it shows how some people are actually dealing with this whole pandemic thing and how it affects families and relationships.
They way this is filmed is so fitting for this show, they are looking at you directly almost all the time, every conversation is to camera and we see all sides all the time, and when its emotional you can actually feel it because you are looking them in the eyes.
I really didn't expect to cry from a show called 'Gameboys', I started watching cause cause it looked fun, but DAMN the tears started flowing fast (and I'm saying that as a non-crier, this hits all the feels) but don't worry, there is a lot of fun too!
Overall, for me this is a perfect 10, can't wait for the new episodes!
I didn't think I would like this, but DAMN, I love it!. I was sure it was going to be all nonsense just for lough series (based on the first couple of episode) but NOPE, it was beautiful.
This is a non classic BL story, but when you watch it you can feel the love - I saw a comment saying that they say 'I love you' in every way but these 3 words and I couldn't agree more - actions speaks louder than words.
Overall this was an excellent series (started reading the novel because of it) with a very good story , great actors and it doesn't lack in funny or emotional moments (actually teared several times).
First of all, I'll say that I loved this show and I can consider it a very good show.
The main issue I have with this show (and looks like many other people) is that they romanticized the sexual assault. Beside it being a disgusting act (and was even more hard to watch knowing the character was raped as a child). I think it was very out of Tharn's character. The way the character is portrayed for the rest of the show, it becomes more and more clear that this act was just the novelist being a bit over-horny and not even caring that it hurts Tharn as a character. I've read the novel and I skipped this part (and another that wasn't in show, where again Tharn assaulted Type before he started 'liking' him) . In my opinion this scene should have been different, not kissing a passed-out-drunk Type but maybe just making think he kissed him - cause if it is never revealed, then what was the point if not to make Tharn look like a bad guy and the viewer a bit horny?
-Oat and Pop and all this 'will they, won't they'.. they won't. Not sure it this came like this from the novel, but as a show, very disappointing. They prepared us for 2 seasons for a 'sad' ending.
- Bo still going down hill even though he knows he's being a shitty person, and when it got the the rape (?!?!!), what the actual duck?! he had a way out (sorta) but still went along with it. And as a story line, why didn't they complete it? just Oat telling to Pop about it and that's it?! just accepting he was raped by a person that for some reason even went to his 'Becoming a Buddhist' ceremony?! what even is this?
-Mai's and Ton's story..?! what? how? why? Such a waste of screen time.
-And Pree and Mo - really didn't care about them, just a few scenes to 'burn' more screen time.
Overall - big mess, looks like they didn't even try to make this something good, just to throw everything they had and hopes something will stick.
