It is kind of a polarizing drama, either you will love it because you can relate to these characters at some level which is very rarely found in any drama or movie in general or you are going to hate it thinking what kind of shit show have I dragged myself into.

The series is quite a slow burn,even much slower than My mister. It depends on how much you can relate to it.The characters are devoid of purpose and meaning in life despite having well paid jobs,being in relationships,living together as a family so majority of audience will have a harder time relating to it.

I loved this series no doubt but still I think it is quite a difficult series to watch and I certainly wouldn't question the person if he disliked or found it boring to watch. This series had a much slower pace even if compared to My Mister so that definitely tells you something about how it is made for a niche audience.

I think what he is saying that she is not beautiful like Suzy or Han So Hee but at least she doesn't look ugly.

The first 5 episodes were absolute bonkers, I had total blast watching those initial episodes but a certain event happens, and unfortunately from there on it just becomes your run-of-the-mill crime show and gets painfully boring. The final episode is like a bit of a revival but at that point it's too late as the damage has been already done and it becomes clear why this series is not popular.

I loved this series a lot but towards the end it looked like it has started running a bit out of steam so keeping it to 12 eps was the best decision I guess.

Keeping it 12 episode saved this series from getting ruined.

Episode 1's bleakness will seriously leave you gasping for air.

Can someone confirm this is not like Hometown Cha-Cha ?? Seems like a spinoff or something of that.

I loved this show but I would agree with your points about FL and your frustration with the show.The fault here also seems to be with Woong who didn't allow himself to be vulnerable with her.He didn't want her to know what problems he is going to through in his life and he always looked to shut down any disagreement or any uncomfortable situation with Yumi at earliest rather than resolving it and having good long conversation with her about it. He was just too focused on keeping things nice and steady at surface level only which is not how usually relationships work.

Making all the main characters date each other.Everything felt so forced as there was no strength to the story and characters from the beginning itself.Making them like and date each other certainly brought the series down.The writers tried to copy sitcoms like Friends,HIMYM trying to create another chandler and monica,ross and rachel but unfortunately they failed spectacularly.

I hate to spoil the party here but I have to say that this drama is really overrated.There were lot of hilarious scenarios in the beginning eps of the series and I initially thought the hype for the series is justified but the series definitely peaked at episode 6 itself.After that the series went downhill and what was left was just a bunch of mediocre and forgettable episodes in the end.There is also nothing much to talk about the characters.The only character who stood out is Joon Ki.He definitely gave his 100% here.His importance in the series is like what Barney was to HIMYM.At best this is a partially feel good and pleasing watch and at worst this is forgettable series with boring eps stacked up one after other with dull and bland characters except Joon-Ki.
