The story begins with Mo Ran, being the first Emperor of the cultivation world, called Ta Xian Jun and hated by everyone, dying. He reincarnates into his self when he was sixteen. In his first life he came to hate his Shizun, Chu Wanning, bc of a lot of misunderstandings. Now he still hates him (first), but bc of the second chance he got, he doesn't want to live his life the same way as before. So, knowing, what is gonna happen in the future, he decides to make different choices than before, so will not become the killing Ta Xian Jun again. But as time goes by, he realizes, that some things evolve quiet different than before - and that the Shizun he despised in reality is not at all despicable and cold.

Yeah I get that, but I would prefer if they wouldn't show us tidbits like that, only to delete it it again, rumor or not. I rather wait until April 30 without anything posted, than a teasing like this ?

I don't really know myself. ? But 40 episodes really seem short. On the other hand, the donghua will only have 3 seasons. I can't imagine, how they want to cut the plot down to fit it in.

I can only say something about Ding Cheng Xin, but after watching Wulian I think his acting is pretty good! As long as the chemistry is good between the two main leads I will be happy XD
