I guess there are a few versions of subs existing :D I remember reading "dead person", and you probably watched is somewhere else and it said "corpse". Btw., in my first language we say "to sleep like a killed person" which is even more disturbing, hah :D
Okay, I don't get one thing about episode 7. I'll post it in a spoiler box below, please, help me understand it…
The day Min Jung goes missing we can see Dong Shik at her house because he wants to return her her keys. It's already after her dad has killed her, and Dong Shik finds her fingers and her phone. He wants to call the police (we can see him typing 112), as I guess, to inform them that she was killed, probably by her own dad. But! At her phone, he suddenly sees a few new messages from Ji Hoon, the boy asks whether she'll come or not, and he also asks something like, “Are you sleeping like a dead person?” And then Dong Shik hesistates, he ponders and ponders, and finally he stops himself from calling the police, takes her fingers and leaves them outside.
And my question is: WHY. Why didn't he call the police? I think maybe because the police would suspect Ji Hoon of being the killer, since he used those exact words (“dead person”). And we know he has some stalking tendencies—but at that point Dong Shik didn't know that (or maybe he did? Who knows, they might reveal that soon. But as for now, it wasn't being said), so that thing couldn't be Dong Shik's reason (something like: oh no, he's stalkerish, and he sends her those text, they will think for sure that he was the one who's killed her). Nevertheless, using the phrase “to sleep like a dead person” is quite common (at least in English and my first language), so that alone is no proof at all. And that leaves me with the question. WHY. Why didn't he call the police?
I really like this drama, but what I like the most is THE MUSIC. Just wooooooaaaaaaaahhhhhh. Absolutely astonishing. I am enjoying every single moment of those melodies. Fantastic, please, I want to keep listening to them till I'll die.
Okay, as we have seen some sort of suggestion of something between (I am going to put their names in a spoiler box below) in the last episode of "Manner of Death", I WISH that was a hint that they are going to be main leads in this! Yeah, a girl can dream, I know, but ohhhhhhhh how I wish :D (I am guessing that because both novels were written by the same person.)
I just hope we'll see more of Pok and Tong. Their relationship is honestly quite well written! Still, it's a stupid show about unrealistic situations, but their interactions are a bit impressive.
During that last scene I was like, "That would be funny if Shi Yi slapped Shi De!" and he actually did!!! I cannot with this show, it's so crazy <3 And of course I love it very much ^^
