I heard that they are dating also.. psyched for Kunning palace .. I loved maiden Holmes (watched it 2x) thought he was such a good ML .. very understanding and supportive. I felt like Bai carried the overlord drama .. I didn’t feel a connection or chemistry to the ML. But I was influenced by the chemistry in Love is sweet.. that was such a good drama. Chemistry was phenomenal (i thought they were or sb dating in real life:D).

Love TTEOTM LIS & some of her other dramas..i don’t usually do anything more than 40 eps so I might skip through.. but I usually like all her dramas (except for the one where she’s the leader of a gang (jiu overlord? the Ml is a that one was kind of “meh” .. she’s always good:)
I’m loving his getting in touch with the betrayal he dealt with.. he definitely has PTSD. I think the most important thing is that He has to forgive himself I feel like he represents the innocence we all loose when we trust someone only to be betrayed ..and love is the strongest emotion … SY was incredibly evil malicious diabolical self serving and took pleasure in his utter destruction. She showed no remorse and I was so happy the “her beloved” did what he did (screw her!!) I really wanna smack her … TY was an innocent and he fell under her web of lies.. not understanding he was the sacrifice for her narcissistic plans. Realizing how far reaching the destruction was (ep 14) he feels more guilt and self hatred.. I think that’s what the sword is trying to say to him... purity is forgiving ones self and letting for the hatred ..it will only destroy him in the end and harden his heart. He trusted and was betrayed, but she doesn’t deserve to overshadow his life forever. Fate has put “real love” in front of him and as he heals he will see that.. for some reason I keep thinking of King Arthur (maybe it’s the sword LOL) I can’t understand why no one questions SYs methods and lies in the Taoist clan .. absolute power is a scary thing and she seems to answer to no one. (cant wait to find out her karma! Y is the healing balm for him and is helping him face his trauma. It was betrayal of the deepest sense he was willing to give up so much for her . To say he was blindsided is ann understatement
He definitely needs help to move on and FL has the ability to do that with her straightforwardness and compassion. I love how they both are learning about each other and falling deeper in to respect, admiration, friendship trust and finally love
Ep 14 shows her moderating her emotions to pull back a bit and gauge his responses to affection. I totally get that .. her wise compassion will allow him to grieve his past and the losses of himself and loved ones .. it’s a great story of humanity. Healing love and redemption….

it’s adorable you will not regret watching this. The leads are perfect for each other. No misunderstandings (so far) no second lead triangle. Honesty, faithfulness, respect,fighting for Justice, kind ML funny FL..humor, splash of romance (and learning to love again:) Ask anyone on this list..we are all waiting patiently for each episode :D
Can I just say that this is SUCH a good drama wow.. the respect, loyalty, humor, teamwork ..and budding affection is soo well done. The looks they give each other, the ease of companionship they have .is just .so nice… She’s smart, witty, honest..good fighter…. Learns from her misunderstandings and makes wiser choices.. stays true to her word.. SO refeshing He looks at her with contemplative budding admiration (these two falling in love is actually well done.. . . they both have known abandonment, rejection, being mistreated..and yet they still believe in the goodness of all and are willing to sacrifice themselves to see Justice done-.and wrongs righted The episodes where she took the love potion was seriously funny.. and I noticed he wasn’t fighting her off :).. you can see where he is moving from initial distrust.. to >.understanding..respect.. trust…liking and now,I see adoration in his eyes…..:) One issue..mi need more than one episode a day!!!!!! It’s not enough!!!
These two are a perfect combination. I would believe they are actually a couple in real life … the eye contact, gestures, affection, off beat humor ..lol it’s like they personally know each other as “real” partners. What I like about them is when they work out the issues facing them -they are a very healthy funny (adorable) pair that respect each other and work as a team. I LOVE that she’s smart savvy and knows how to work hard :)
These two initially captured me in “Once we get married” …..the connection they made from the get-go was impressive and believable ….and may I just say that I LOVED the grandma in that one.. she was perfect ..spunky smart and knew how to get them closer :)…. Im going to rewatch that one for the umpteenth time…..I have off today..I can start that one as soon as I finish this post :D…lol
The little boy.. he is amazing for his age and will definitely be a fabulous actor as he gets older. I really liked how they kept him center stage with them without overdoing it.. he knew how to play his parents but it was done is such a sweet way that you just couldn’t help rooting for him. Loved how the ML was like a child too. Thinking he was an orphan he probably did not have much of a childhood, his boy allowed him to be young again and experience that fun he missed out on All in all fun adorable sweet loving smart comparable wonderful chemistry..(you get where I’m going with this….lol) drama 10/10
Which episode ML will come to know that QQ is his son?
I can’t remember but it’s pretty early on ..which leads to him living with them .. which is the catalyst for the leads to work out their issues (both are stubborn) but it works out in the end very happy ending.. sweet funny
