Finished this in a day and a half.. I liked it. The intro where you see her n the real life and then into the story . It was deeper than I expected and I had to keep going to the next episode bc the ending was a cliff hanger. It starts out very funny and then gets more developed as it goes and you see a different tone to the drama…but isn’t that how life is..?( Sometimes it throws us a curveball.) I’m in need of a part 2 to continue on in their lives. In a way it was a much longer splash splash love…. I did like the FL ..the ML it took me a while to get his character..but he was very good, there was a lot of interesting secondary characters and I enjoyed them… right now I’m finishing up Queen of Attack 2…loved part 1 and -part 2 is also very ,good.
Ok..so I didn’t think I was going to like this bc it looked kind of off beat..and the beginning of episode one I was like..?..but I stuck with it and LOVED when the FL s fighting skills came out and was hooked by the mid/end of episode 1. .episode 2 was even better psyched to start on three. This is the kind of rom com that is slightly different in that it’s a bit more mature in now it handles “the games” that the younger brother has her play.. they don’t always turn out how he thinks they will and she somehow becomes more “real” to him (and herself) as we go through her story.. Not sure how they are going to proceed with the older brother (the two brothers are entirely different) but it sb an interesting study of how they work it out. You can see there are all kinds of “other hidden” stories within this drama and I like the way they are on the fringe of the story and will be drawn in as we progress. So far really good.. Issei has really done an awesome job with his character and he and FL have a unique chemistry. (He has an awesome voice! (He would be wonderful as an anime character) LOL
Just finished 27 episodes to the end. (18 episodes subbed so I finished the last 9 raw:)..it’s that good!!.. I loved this story and the FL is perfectly adorable and she totally rocked her role.:D She and the ML had wonderful chemistry and I liked that she challenged him and he learned to trust her. Not sure who the ML was but he really impressed me as the story went on There were a few side stories like her sister, Brother in law, guy whose also in love with her and a few strangers… I loved how kind the FL was, that was an integral part of the story and it showed when your kind ..good things can happen. All in all a wonderful quick rom com that made me hungry ,made me laugh & made me say “awe” numerous times Can anyone explain the ending (in spoilers) I would love to know more about those unsubbed episodes:)…? If you’re on the fence definitely give it a go.. this was addicting romantic and When FL .smiled the whole room lit up...I hope to see her in more dramas )
Wow..so impressed with the FLs acting. ….Episode 7 was very deep, she was awesome..I have to,say she seriously “owns” the character. When she has that conversation with the friend (lawyer) I was so caught up in it.. i was like “wow” this girl can act.. Totally love her bff’s they are awesome!! I’m up to episode 10 and so far it’s well written and has definitely drawn me in. The characters are a step above the typical drama people ….for example… the FLs boss and his wife really have impressed me. I think the jealous girl may in someway redeem herself..or not ..but she’s annoyingly good in her pettiness and narcissistic thinking that the ML will somehow love her…but she’s doing a good job of making me dislike her
I just have to say one thing and it’s something I see in a lot of dramas.. there is no way these people can drink and eat what they do (. They drink like 15 -20 beers..or soju… get totally wasted .and still have beautiful glowing skin no puffiness, no dehydration.., and they look spectacular the next day)……just sayin… ..
(here I am worried about her health bc of what the nurse said so every time she drinks I’m like “what are you doing???? You need to take care of your health!!! Hopefully the ML will help ,her with that. :) LOL

I’m pretty sure at the end he shows up at the restaurant/inn she is working at (she leaves the main land of SK and goes to the island (jeju?) to start anew and he finds her there (sorry, its been a while since I’ve seen it)
So this one kind of flew under the radar for me as I don’t remember seeing it on the drama sites but for some reason it kept appearing on MDL when I’d look up certain rom coms. I REALLY enjoyed this one. Everyone was good, the young boy was great, funny .witty capable (used to being adored but not narcissistic ) , the leads had wonderful chemistry and I loved the strength and ability of both of them ( I binged it in 2 days with very little skipping)! . there’s a lot going on which was good, lots of hidden stuff that got revealed .. some flashbacks ..the comedy romance (all done well) kept me hitting the next episode button (stayed up waaayyy to late!) secondary (and other ) stories were all good. My one complaint is I wish the leads would communicate better but they seemed to have their own way of dealing with things. Have to say that when they made the decision to be together they kept it strong and soon learned how to trust and work with each other Also loved the part of the ML ..he was really good in his character, strong smart, silly, vulnerable, “full of himself” I really liked how he “owned “ the character. His relationship with the young boy was awesome:) Romance between him and FL was very good, you could tell these two enjoyed each other and the FL was a strong smart witty capable woman (which I love) her friend was awesome. If your on the fence give it a try …all the questions got answered and it was a fun ride:)
Have not watched last episode so I have no idea how it ended but I was thinking wouldn’t it have been fun if she got pregnant by him and a Gumiho and the child is a mix of them….what a fun part 2 that would be:) Overall LOVED this drama, loved Dam, she was AWESOME!! We need more female leads ,like her, stands up for her friends, tom-boyishly lovely, honest forthright, funny, loves to eat,…I could go on and on..she was perfect:D
I think I understand where you're coming from. I found Ep. 9-10 a bit frustrating, hilariously cringey but ultimately…
Yes..totally agree..she needs to stand up and respect herself or no one else will. . I haven’t seen ep 10 yet, but in episode 9 I could feel the ML “uncertainty and confusion” about how to act around her. The fact that he admitted it made me like him more.. the fact that he kept pursuing her at the end of the episode really impressed me… that he was willing to talk it out with her and be with her.. showed a lot of growth for him . He's never dated,..been on his own for most of his life, had to learn to put up a wall of,protection because of how he’s been treated ….so being vulnerable, kind and loving is gonna be a work for him. (But if he’s trying I’ll keep rooting for him:) One major plus for them is they both have suffered losses and had to work hard , the only difference is FL still has her mom /security of family. I don’t know how he would be with someone who had everything handed to them ,.. he can relate to her …that and the fact that she is trying to pull her life together and be better with her decisions. I like this drama, I’ve never seen the ML before & I’m enjoying studying his character. The Fl is just so soft .. it reminds me of “this is my first life”
