Oh and Just saw another one that is similar to “what’s wrong with Secretary Kim “ it Chinese remake with different time era. Really cute called Su Yu. Funny and romantic. Just FYI :) p
Oh my gosh ..episode 1 was really a fun ride. It’s very similar to Secretary Kim but in a totally different setting...so far it’s very funny. I lol’d so many times . You can tell they have great chemistry. I’m gonna watch the next few episodes raw and see what I think. I need a funny rom com life is too serious lately This really good and the pace is nice, it moves along. I’m loving these dramas with 24 episodes, they’re quick and fun. It’s my dessert in between working like a maniac :)
Ok so I binged this one in about 3 days (I had to go to work in between.. sleep is not that important when binging.. food is though:) anyhoo I really enjoyed it. I like the reckless female lead who enjoys who she is and the freedom of not being feminine and the ML who seems narcissistic but is a lot more than he appears. I think they did a great job.. the Story was similar to moonlight drawn by clouds ..but different.. more raw, I like that there was not a lot of makeup on people ..they looked like real people , there was a development of relationships that showed interaction, protecting each other and getting to know each other. There was some romance and real kisses. Initially the male lead seemed off to me, I couldn’t quite get him and then as the story unfolded I realized he was much more than I thought. He unfolds and reveals himself as the story goes on.. I liked his honesty about being a person, his loneliness, as an emperor and all it entailed , the view of living in the palace and the rules and such. And the relationship ,with the empress mother who is a control freak.. I liked that the leads all had their own lives and had to make choices that at times weren’t easy. I loved the comedy and characters. I would rate it an 8.5/10 . It’s comedy, serious stuff , life lessons, finding yourself, realizing you have everything and yet nothing, loyalty, finding love..being unsure ..(I have this thing about wanting to delve into all the characters.. I like to see their development) and I think it was well done .. it’s not a big budget drama but they all did a good job. I liked the flow of the story and just kept going to the next episode i didn’t even (hardly at all ) fast forward ... but I had to finish it tonite though and it’s almost 1 am.. . ..now I can sleep Anyone have any good recommendations for similar type dramas? I love these type of dramas and funny romantic happy ending ones...
Yes one on episode 7 which is rare for that early episode and it’s a good kiss and then toward the end there’s a few, the chemistry is very good between the leads
WOW..I am totally blown away by episode 7. Phenomenal writing and acting. This cast is incredible. You can really feel their pain joy sorrow fear... I was glued to this drama. Sometimes when I watch a drama I’m disconnected, but this brings you in and you feel their vulnerability. You can see there is so much more to every character. I wasn’t sure the leads would be able to even be healthy enough to interact in a relationship and that’s changing. The dynamics are real bc we all go through loss abandonment rejection nightmares and such, ..but this drama dares to go deeper and we see there is so much more than we “know and understand” in mental illness. I’m loving it. I wasn’t sure the first few episodes but now I’m hooked. Amazing job... the older brother is soooo awesome....sorry I’m just gushing with all my love for this drama..I wanna binge watch it in its entirety ..now
I’m enjoying this a lot.. binged up to episode 10 and their relationship is getting good. I like how they are learning from each other and how he likes to be near her and do things with her.. realizing he wants her company... I like the FL and there’s nice chemistry:)
Hi :) Just FYI...I’m watching a really good drama that’s really interesting and definitely has some romance in it.. called Mr Honesty.. it’s a cute but deep story , I’m up to episode 10. (I binged it) She’s kind Cute makes mistakes but is competent, ..he has an interesting backstory with room for change they learn from each other.. boss employee but more.. I’ll let you know as it progresses. I’ve never seen the ML but he’s quite good. I’m rom coms (no tragedies:() let me know if you come across any good ones :) Take care:)
Oh you might also like “love better than immortality” another time travel with same ML and he was awesome in it. Took me a few episodes to really dive in but once I did I totally loved it. Lots of romance great chemistry and the FL is also amazing. Episode 8 (I think ?)has the CUTEST funniest flour fight between the leads . Bit of a triangle but you pretty much know who she ends up with and things are not as they appear, good is not all good and bad is not all bad. If you watch it let me know what you think:)
FL loves two men at the same time. Cuz two FL are there in the same time line, while one is 10 year older than…
That’s a good question.. my thought is the future one will be the one to remain. The younger one is very immature and seems to be a weaker character. Also younger version and the 2nd male lead break up episode 13 or 14(trailer) (I really want to smack the younger version, he’s so rude to her) if she stays maybe they keep her under the radar and she goes about her life not knowing about the older one

I thought They could combine the 2 into one if she leaves and he meets her 10 years later (but then what about her memories) in the last scene (what I think is the last scene ) she knows him and she looks like the older one. I’m watching Parallel Love right now and I have to say it is really good. I’m up to episode 12...if you like rom coms with strong FL and a ML that is imperfect but genuinely nice (although not initially but by episode 4 or 5 he is softening..he’s never mean just spoiled but he slowly changes.. time travel done well:).. Im, going to start on this one Tomorrow and let you know:)
is anyone feel this drama will be a sad ending? when i read the synopsis on wetv, i feel like it will be.. but…
I’m pretty sure there will be a happy ending, if you watch at the end of the drama they show scenes from past and future drama episodes ..in a few scenes it shows him standing there in a blue suit looking at her and she is kind of hazy..and she is looking at him im thinking it’s the end episode and she somehow came back to him) then you see him in the same blue suit kissing her with the haziness around them (which I think is the final scene) ..I watched it like 5x to check it out.. that’s my take on it.. I’m loving it so adorable.. right now we have some angst but it will pass soon:):)(ep 11 and 12)
