For anyone confused as to what the actor said that is considered misogynistic here is a link to an article that…
Love this drama and all and I agree with you as I have been turned off by guys wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt for a date I dressed up for (as the place of the date also called for it), but I think people view what he said as misogynistic because he’s more so referring to revealing clothing (as per translations)? Instead of just a woman wearing clothing that indicates she didn’t make an effort. Not every woman is going to want to wear revealing clothing just to express their interest and I think that’s where people found him to be misogynistic. However, I hope the translations didn’t take the context of what he said out, but at the time I believe his co-star also had a (negative?) reaction to what he said since he also poked fun at her for being “conservative” and saying that is why she has a difficult dating life.
I love it...every aspect of it. I ain't sitting here for those perfect novel characters with no flaws. So not…
You said “i replied cause i found it ridicolous they were saying that this drama isn't a female fantasy when it very clearly is”. But they said “I love it...every aspect of it. I ain't sitting here for those perfect novel characters with no flaws. So not human, highly unreal and really there just to be a female fantasy.” “And really there just to be a female fantasy” means that it is there to be a female fantasy so please do understand what they’re saying before finding it ridiculous, disagreeing, and saying what they’re literally saying 😭 @venus_02

Also I just re-read the original comment of @cornbread and they never said it WASN’T a female fantasy? They said “I love it...every aspect of it. I ain't sitting here for those perfect novel characters with no flaws. So not human, highly unreal and really there just to be a female fantasy.” “And really there just to be a female fantasy” means that they do consider it to be a female fantasy? Maybe understand the comment you’re replying to first before going on a negative tangent? 😭

What even is gne gne gne hahahahaha. And by all means go for it since you seem to be doing so already. But it would be nice if you didn’t go around commenting your negativity to people just simply enjoying a drama and liking it. I’m also replying like it’s my job because I find it ridiculous you being negative to others saying this drama is pathetic and doesn’t deserve the success it’s getting because in your eyes it’s a female fantasy and not realistic.
I love it...every aspect of it. I ain't sitting here for those perfect novel characters with no flaws. So not…
And it seems like it’s your job to hate on this drama when you could’ve hated it, dropped and gone about your business so it seems both of us have jobs doesn’t it? 😭 also you literally replied to someone saying they liked the drama for no reason like it’s your job to go around leaving hate comments and to rain on other people’s parade
I love it...every aspect of it. I ain't sitting here for those perfect novel characters with no flaws. So not…
Alright, you may not like it but once again it does not take away from its success and the impact it made whether it’s WTPR or the Heirs. I was just using it as an example since you’re talking about ratings and such. And you may think that shows that top on Netflix suck, but how do you think it tops? By many people actually watching it. Also, it’s not just topping Netflix’s charts, it’s actually doing pretty good in ratings in Korea and is rising with every episode. And nah it’s a pretty memorable drama to many people even past January and you do seem to care since you keep commenting about it?

WTPR has so far had good ratings and is consistently in Netflix’s top show rankings despite the lack of promotion of MBC compared to other shows and also being cancelled for a week which in itself is a pretty good feat. It’s also hyped and discussed across many social media platforms, not only in MDL. Hopefully it stays consistent, but if like you said the ratings go down on MDL, does it truly take away from the success it has already achieved? Also, since I can see Park Shin Hye in your picture isn’t the Heirs an iconic k-drama (despite whatever you think of the plot), yet it’s only rated 7.6 here on MDL? Does it take away from what an icon of a k-drama it is with it being most people’s first k-drama as well as one of the stepping stones for many well known k-drama actors today. Anyways what I’m saying is things may change as you say, but it will never take away from what was already achieved ;)

Alright you go keep doing that then 👍🏻 doesn’t take away from the success of this drama :) But I do truly hope you can find a drama worth your while and positive comments!

Yeah, but what’s the point honestly? Why stay stuck on a drama that is in your opinion bad? When you could focus your attention on better suited dramas for you? What will you gain from leaving negative comments? 😭

He’s cold to everyone because that’s how he was raised as well as his defense mechanism. He’s warm to Heejoo because they’re pretty much in the same boat since the beginning. He sees how she’s treated by her mother. Again, if you don’t like it just don’t watch it lol. There must be some drama out there that would appeal to you instead of wasting your time despising this one.
