It would’ve been better if they had more episodes to actually show how the Argan plot developed. It seems choppy and rushed because they only had one episode to show the entirety of that aspect of the story. I also heard in the novel he disappeared after an explosion then the Argan plot happened which would’ve made a bit more sense. And honestly it does make sense to the story as well since he used to be a hostage negotiator before he was a presidential spokesperson and it shows him kind of going back to his roots. Sadly with 12 episodes the entirety of the plot they wanted to include wasn’t executed in the best way. Also, with them creating the fictional Argan I wish they continued to use it instead of bringing in similar names/situations to an ongoing conflict so there would be no misunderstandings and all of this wouldn’t have happened :(

Also cannot believe people have enough time to make spam accounts instead of actually researching themselves to see if the translation is accurate or actually properly advocating for the issue instead of commenting spam. It’s so frustrating to see.
Yes, I am so emotionally invested in this drama because for awhile it helped me cope up with some rough patches in my life. It’s so disappointing to see what has happened with it.

It’s really upsetting and at this point I doubt it will be properly addressed. If it does get addressed, the damage has been done. Ratings on here and other platforms have tanked and spam accounts are wrecking havoc. It’s so sad to see for a drama that started out so good.
All the hard work of the actors are going to waste after a mistranslation makes me so upset and disappointed. I also doubt MBC will say anything because then they would have to make their stance more clear on the ongoing war. To begin with, that scene was unnecessary and if they really wanted to do it, they should’ve continued to use Argan instead. Smh.
