Without LOOKS, esp if you're an A/A, nobody would watch you or even NOTICE you in the first place..Let's be REAL here!! Nomatter what is said; at the end of the DAY, It's always going to be about looks...First impression; be them the human face or even EATING what foods we like and where we LIVE. . Looks/appearance matter..

A person could be SO GREAT of an A/A, if he/she is UGLY; nobody would CARE how great you are, just that viewers can't stomach your acting due to your ugly looks..I'm sorry but the world is a harsh and cruel place and anyone who thinks differently is LYING to themselves.

The ONLY exception I can see to this rule is a country that is full of unattractive ppl and that does exist and they have NO STANDARDS in terms of looks.. I've seen and read about how a countries standards are so BAD that UGLY A/A are called beautiful..I was shocked but somewhat not..

I know, I sound mean but that's just life and fact..


Lastly, China can't help but have good looking individual when it comes their A/A, same with Japan and Korea..So what if the guys where white face foundation and the women do the same..It's acting..It's for US to enjoy the view... Lets be real, Makeup can only do so much to the face if one is not pretty enough for even MAKEUP to help..

No wonder my sister couldn't tell who's the female lead*from the trailer, only*..I watch the very first Ep to see for myself and thought that wedding/fight scene, she'd be paired with JZ but then I thought, she's not as "famous" as the other girl, even thou I really don't know nor care for either..ONE'S very unattractive then the other..
