Is anyone on Song Wan’s side?? Simply because we may choose to understand her beyond her actions doesn’t mean we condone her cheating… I don’t have to call her names just to know she was wrong.
I don’t think anyone on this board is saying cheating is ok but some of us accept that life happens and mistakes can be made at all levels,
Also she is unfortunately the one who has acted the best since her affair, it was a one night stand which she has broken off and stuck to her promise. Ga Bin and Ami are bat sh*t crazy in my opinion. Even after knowing the pain they are causing, they won’t back down. I am struggling to understand them as there is little to no remorse on their parts but even for A Mi I can see how she was taken advantage of to the point where she can’t think straight. The power imbalance in her relationship with Dr Shin makes him look like a predator and she a prey!
Even as deplorable as I find Dr Shin, he clearly has a personality disorder that removes him from reality.
The professor and the Ga Bin are the two I really cannot find an explanation or excuse for. Their live doesn’t seem predatory like Dr Shin, neither was it borne from emotional deadness like Sye Hun so I still don’t know what the hook is with them. They seem to simply be two selfish humans using each other and not caring about anyone’s pain.
Can we discuss the ghost please? I need answers! What is his purpose in the drama at this point? Is the writer trying to show us that gramps wasn’t a perfect man himself?? I am so confused!
Today’s episode was a bit meh for me but I was sad for Hye Rung and her hubby at dinner. Hopefully she realised how loveless her marriage really is but I still find her somewhat detached.
If I was talking to my hubby about starting over, I’d want to look him in the eye, touch him etc… I guess since he cheated it’s hard for her but if you can’t commit to recovering your love from scratch shouldn’t you divorce?
I love this drama and am becoming obsessed by it. The acting is terrific and the actors are not bad to look at…
Totally agree with you, Song Wan is not a saint but she’s the most mature one of the trio and like you say bot forcing the relationship. I don’t see an issue bonding with your child’s grandparents, the child didn’t ask to be born and should not be punished by depriving them of that love.

The board seems quiet today - maybe a reflection of the slow-as-molasses pace of ep 9.
Lol, I had guests and was wishing they’d just leave so I can watch! SPY’s story is a warning to us all, when you refuse to seek understanding (at a minimum) this can happen. Life is short, let’s all respect each other and bear with our imperfections. Not saying pat each other on the head for wrong doing but don’t write anyone off, we are all frail humans who can fail in an area of our lives at any time. Perfection is a myth. Wish people would take the time to seek spiritual wisdom, there’s a lot in religious teachings that help us become better humans!

I disagree slightly, manipulation is a thing and A Mi could be a victim too. This man is the worst kind, his cheating was premeditated unlike the professor who kind of fell into it over time. Now, not excusing the cheating men but this stuff is complex, it’s not as easy as you should know better. Humans do crazy things all the time and sometimes you should know better just doesn’t cut it… my two cents
