ok this is a very unpopular opinion that i'm almost scared to say it lol. I'm caught up now and honestly when…
I actually feel the same. Ju Kyung and Seo Jun have an almost sibling like relationship with how they tease each other. I love him to death and they are cute together but not as a couple lol I just don't see it.
Episode 8 was by far my favorite! OH MY GOD THE WAY MY AND GT LOOK AT EACH OTHER! I CAAAAANT MY HEART T_T AND JAESU SPITTING HIS GUM ON THE CEOS FACE. I LAUGHED SO FREAKING HARD. AND THAT ENDINGGGGG i know some drama coming with sang tae but GT's smile!!! His safety pin finally got pulled out! His smile reminded me of MY when she cut her hair. THEY ARE BOTH HEALING EACH OTHER SLOWLY BUT SURELY
Hmm I have a feeling the woman that likes to read is her mother. Walking along the hallway humming at night.
I was looking for this comment! Maybe the lady with the fur coat was foreshadowing something when she made that comment about plastic surgery making her face look different.
I was on the fence about Juri until this episode...That car scene made me want to punch her so freaking bad! YOU ARE IN YOUR THIRTIES STOP ACTING LIKE YOU ARE 5 YEARS OLD
The actor playing Moon Sang Tae deserves ALL of the awards! I love him so much, he's so precious. The whole brotherly bond has my whole heart <3 And Seo Yeji is stunning! I want all her outfits T_T
Anyone else enjoying this far more than TMOB? I love DJ/FJ waaaaay more than YH/BQ for some reason. Maybe I just like their personalities more? I love that DJ just does what he wants whereas Ye Hua bowed to the whims of others too easily. Not to say I don't love that couple, but I find this couple far more entertaining and interesting. Also this drama doesn't drag near as much as TMOB. I find the arcs a lot more fun and entertaining.
Whelp the birthday scene was the straw that broke the camel's back. I've teared up a lot during this drama but I never outright bawled until now. Episode 12 was the perfect mixture of comedy and melo. I'm praying to all the drama gods our couple gets their much deserved HE.
Also I love what they are doing with Dan and 'Alberto.' I was so afraid this drama would get bogged down with messy love triangles and crazy SL's who can't take no for a hint, but they didn't. Both second leads are getting their own development outside of the main couple and I'm living for it. I'm really starting to love Dan and especially her mom and uncle. Hope things end well for our second couple as well.
God, I love this drama so much. No couple in kdrama history has stirred me like Seri's and Ri Jung Hyuk's. Watching their romance unfold is like being enveloped in a warm hug. It's slow yet well paced. They don't need to say words to convey how they feel towards each other. What RJH portrays with his eyes is more powerful than any spoken confession. I love seeing this stoic man just fall to pieces when Seri's life is in danger. I love how a once selfish and spoiled heiress puts her life aside to protect his over and over. I just love everything about this drama. It's angsty without being overly melo. All the side characters are so funny and add a dash of much needed reprieve from the heaviness of the plot. The music comes in and adds so much to the scenes. I will never forget the ending of episode 8 where Seri finally tells RJH that she loves him. That when he hears the gun shot, everything goes silent and distorted and you can physically feel his heart stutter and drop just like it did when he found out about his brother's death. "Someone I love is being taken from me yet again and i can't do anything to stop it." And then when his mother tells him to breathe again when they reunite. I just can't with this couple. I love them so much and I really hope they get a HE. I'm so glad I decided to watch this drama. It just gets better and better with each episode.
After sitting on it all night, the finale just left a bad taste in my mouth. The only thing I liked was Wan Soo's part. The rest felt rushed and off. The ending and payoff of Ms. Han's comeuppance didn't feel satisfying. It still felt like she won. She gives our MCs the evidence and even tells the lawyer dude how to land her in prison....for 4 years. And then the ending scene with her getting out of prison and driving off with the previous TOP members. LIke what?? After all the evil shit she's done, this is the ending we get? And why did the writers give control of the new TOP to Yoon Do if he was just going to leave? I thought he and Sukhee would work together to create a new era of TOP but both just up and leave out of nowhere. Sukhee just goes back to the states then randomly comes back 4 years later? And I know this isn't a romance heavy drama, but the conclusion to that felt rushed as well. I loved the first 15 episodes of GF because it was so unexpected and the writing was tight. OUr characters really had to work to outsmart Ms. Han and get a leg up. But here it all felt too easy and Ms. Han still conquered in the end....I am just disappointed.
