I rated it a 9/10 the first time, but it's now a 10/10 on my rewatch. However, I lowkey wish the ending was better.

But we don't even know what happened between them...like yes, she was abroad but it's complete rumors that she only heard ab the divorce through the media... how do we know they didn't talk about or discuss it?? the phone exists??? plus she had already stopped wearing her ring long before that. We don't know what happened so it's best not to assume. Also, I don't even think it makes sense to judge how he handled the situation when we don't know what happened between them. What if something hurtful happened that warranted his actions? We'll never know. It sucks that everyone went straight to blaming SHK and her career suffered but like, that's not really his fault? That's netizens being bored and bitter. I see so much more hate for SJK than I see for any korean actors that have SA allegations and other crimes to their name, it's kind of crazy to me. I don't get why the comment section of his drama is filled with people talking about this "scandal" but the comment section for other dramas such as Squid Game with Lee Byung Hun don't mention his scandal where he cheated on his wife. You don't have to praise him or even like him for that matter but what's the point of people constantly bringing this up when both SJK and SHK have moved on with their lives? If they moved on, we should too.

Well, agree to disagree…cause for me personally, Vincenzo was only watchable because of HIM (I disliked the FL) and his character in DOTS is one of my favourite male leads of all time. I think he’s doing pretty good in My Youth for what the drama is, although it’s not my favourite drama of his. I don’t think that his character is immature as you’re saying? But I don’t think the chemistry with the FL is that great either. I’m currently watching The Innocent Man (2012) and I think that’s his best work in K-Dramas (A Werewolf Boy is his best in K-Movies).

I agree so much. Although she was amazing in Flower of Evil, her acting in The Innocent Man is just chef's kiss. She's really one of the most talented actresses of her generation.

clock it sis, SJK is literally such a great actor. I don't particularly love this drama (it's just okay-good for me) but I will never discredit him as an actor, he's great in this drama and this character does suit him. I literally do not care about what happened in his personal life.

honestly i get you, it's a pretty decent drama but it's not really great or anything. I'm on episode 8, and pretty much just watching because I like the cast. I feel like the main couple is cute but the chemistry isn't off the charts or super overflowing, so I'm not that excited while watching it. I think the pace kind of stays the same as the first 4 episodes, but it's not bad or anything. Just an okay-good watch.

the scene in episode 14 where she's not drinking the tomato juice/milk is SO heartbreaking and beautifully done.

this is seriously so addiciting even though this is the second time i'm watching it. The emotions, love, betrayal, everything in this is so poignant.

She's like the Taylor Swift of Kdramas to me. The expectation for her writing is very high, and when it's good it's really good, but when it's bad it's really disappointing. This is how I see it lol:

I was so excited for this because I loved Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy in Uncontrollably Fond , but I was really disappointed in this. I didn’t really feel the romance between the leads because the female lead was emotionless (ik it was her character, but I wish they took this part out) and she just kept beating him up (ik it was supposed to be comedic, but it just really took me out of the romance) like I couldn’t tell when the leads actually fell in love and why they liked each other so much esp cause she was emotionless 😭 Plus, I didn’t really care much for the side characters. I expected something more magical and romantic to be honest…the romance felt like a underdeveloped subplot at times to me… I wouldn’t call this a romcom really, although there was more romance in the second half.
