I don't think it's cause they are doing a BL together。 books just not very good. He barely conveys his emotions .I really doubt he would do better with a girl. And he won't be able to hide behind the fact that he's Rookie actor next time

I've gone though the same. And making new friends or meeting ppl is about being out going and being open. If Theo is a whinny spoiled kid then ofcourse he won't have friends. Ha-ha and who would want to be friends with a manipulative and lying person like theo?

Brought him around.hung out with him. So I wouldnt say Akk didn't give a fuck about him. Theo just wanted more. And if he had no friends after living for 10yrs I'm France then it may be cause of his personality.

It's MDL culture. Every series comment page is the same. no one is allowed to post anything even remotely negative about any series or the actors. If u do ppl immediately swarm u like bees and call ur comments toxic and hate comments. Only acceptable comments are talking about how great the chemistry the actors have, or how the series is the most beautiful thing ever. Somewhere along the recent years "criticism " has become something that includes only positive remarks or the opinion of the majority. Anything that goes against the majority is considered blasphemy

Oh from your comments I assumed u were that person . Seeing as how u are saying we are not knowledgeable about the French language , whether actors are doing a decent job, or whether the series is fine. From your comments it all sounds like u know better than the rest of us
It's kinda funny when u see ppl saying others shouldn't compare this series to Bad Buddies or other shows. Let's be realistic if Enchante had aired first or there was no Bad Buddies would it had made the plot better? Would it have helped with the story telling? Would the actors have acted better? Would the director have less cringy staring scenes ? Would Book have learned to speak French better? This series has flaws and it's receiving alot of negative feedback but not cause of other shows. Blaming the problems cause ppl are comparing it to other shows is just an excuse. Even if this was the first BL series ever made viewers would still be able to tell what bad acting and storytelling is. It's like when u are in school and u get a bad grade on your essay. Would u say u got a bad grade cause ur essay was being compared to someone else's? Cause the other person spent more time and effort to write a better written one?
