Yeah I agree re the ending, I guess they left it up to your own interpretation. I am a bit disappointed to be honest, but that is my personal preference.

I must admit I watched this on a whim. I didn't look into it at all, it just looked interesting from the trailer. l did enjoy this to a certain extent. I loved the characters, the score, the cinematography. But the killing of the horse kind of freaked me out. That was not where I thought this was going. I don't like to read spoilers, but this is a prime example of why sometimes you should, just to protect yourself. I also have problems with the plot, I can understand him running away to deal with his grief, but for that long? And leaving WenXiu to wallow in guilt? Also when he did go back how do we know he would even be happy to see her? I can't see how they can come back from that myself. I honestly nearly stopped watching after the horse scene. I don't even know how to rate this tbh, I feel like I invested my time and enjoyed it, only to be let down at the end.

It isn't a fair rating, there are people rating it low who do not like ZeeNuNew. Someone gave the first episode a 1.5, this has unfairly reduced the overall rating. Please give this a go, I will very much doubt you will be diassapointed .

Well I will just say this, as an English speaker who is English, NuNew's accent in The Next Prince is real, and real people speak like this in the UK and I am from the UK. Saduh

He will not have a accent, he will have been taught "received pronunciation" which is like what I would say is posh English.

I think you do not know what is really going on. Zee and NuNew for some reason have a lot of haters who are deliberately putting low rating on here. I have yet to see anything on here that I would class as a 1.5, and I have watched a lot of series. Unless you are only basing it on one aspect ie. storyline, actors, script etc, I do not believe you can give anything a 1.5.

Yes it is top class. I can't understand this either. It is drawing in people who don't usually watch BL as well. As in it is quality and deserves to be top rated. It's a breath of fresh air and that cliffhanger. can't wait to watch ep 2 tomorrow.

No sorry I don't agree that "the fight scenes are fake and not well shot, they are very artificial and the sound of the fight scenes comes from behind", I thought they were very well done. I really liked the fact they slowed it down so you could see every action, and every nuance. And even if you did not like the fight scenes you have to admit the overall top class quality of the sets, the cinematography, the acting.
