I suddenly wanted to re-watch this drama again and I don't know why but liked it more than before. It could be because this drama is so calm and relaxing and it fits to my mood these days.
Instead of answering at least some of the questions, the last episode added even more questions. But if you'll ask me if this drama is worth watching, then my answer will be: "yes, definitely". The psychological investigations, the suspense, Naraguk couple and the acting made this drama intriguing and unique. And you know, in a weird and twisted way, this drama made me root for the serial killers (I'm talking about Min, of course).
Eternal Love (Healer) and Echo (I Hear Your voice) are among my favorites, but if I had the chance to vote, I would have joined 191 voters who voted for ALi's 'Carry On'.
It is the perfect choice because of ALi's breathtaking vocals, powerful melody and amazing lyrics. Even after 3 years, it is still my all-time favorite OST.
It's the first drama this year to receive 8.5 from me. Although the story was ordinary, it was very addicting. And I really I loved the chemistry between the main couples. Ending was good as well. But what the heck with the double date in the last episode? What a waste of time. It felt totally out of place.
Episodes 1-2 and 15-16 were the best. I would have loved it much more if it didn't have the same outlines as all Hong Sisters dramas. Even so, it was an enjoyable watch and although I found it to be frustrating at times, I'm going to miss the warm and cozy feelings that this drama gave me.
I'm a little confused about Hae Shil age. It's been 30 years since her husband death. Let's say she got married…
Wow! Thanks a lot for your detailed answer! I'm watching the drama, but I was confused about the exact timeline. The STP totally steal my heart in this drama. And I love the OTP as well. Can't wait to see what will happen now. It's actually a very light drama, so you must watch it soon! :)
I'm a little confused about Hae Shil age. It's been 30 years since her husband death. Let's say she got married when she was 20 years old... that means she's 50 years old or she's in her late 40's, is that right? Well, I don't know why but it's bothering me.
After watching episode 11-12, I kept asking myself why am I watching this but in a good way. Some scenes are ridiculously funny. :D Oh, and I'm disappointed with the Mayor. He was so nice but now he's uncool while Geon Woo surprised me. He finally got over his obsession, admits his feelings forwardly and becoming a real man. How long I waited for this to happen! :)
I liked this drama but I can't rate it more than 7.
The negative: my interest was lost somewhere along the way, so I wish the story was more intriguing esp. the investigations. The policemen characters were absolutely stupid and ridiculous. There were also problems with the drama writing as it had a few plot holes.
The positive: sweet couple, great ost, good cast and acting, original concept (I loved the way she's able to see smells).
I have mixed feelings about this drama. Here's why:
1) Although the plot line was strong, I felt that the characters were vague.
2) I liked the fact that it was short but then again I felt many scenes were missing.
3) I wish the main couple relationship was more deep but they were cute together.
In every down I mentioned, there's also an up. It's weird, actually.
The lead guy is an idiot. I really want to kick him sometimes. We are already at episode 10 and he's still the obsessed jerk he was at the beginning. I really hope his action at the end of episode 10 will backfire at him. I admit that I'm somewhat disappointed with this drama. It started out really good but then in the second half it takes the same exhausting route like all Hong Sisters dramas. I'm not going to drop it (I rarely do that). Moreover, I still find it quite entertaining, I just wish it was more fresh. Maybe if it had a different way of showing things, it could have been better.
A lot of people like Min Gyu but personally I really like Jeong Woo. He's caring, protective, loyal, he has a stable job, he's hardworking, he's serious about his relationships and he's funny too. Well, he has all qualities I would look for in a man. :)
I think it had so much potential that wasn't realized. Interesting initial story, good cast and good chemistry. Somewhere along the middle, the plot made me frustrated and the characters became stupid. The last episodes had too many flashbacks and I really can't understand why. It was unnecessary filler. I felt like I'm wasting my time so I skipped most of them. My conclusion: it was a good drama but it could have so much better.
I feel bad for the cast because of the extension. What did SBS tell them? "Listen, we need to extend your drama not because it is good but because the drama after you is not yet ready." Maybe I'm only one who feels this way but I really think that's insulting. I must add that I enjoy this drama at the moment. I hope the couple will stay strong and won't break up.
I like the cast a lot, especially the main couple: Kang So Ra and Yoo Yeon Seok. They have their own special charm, they act well, they have great chemistry together and their characters are so adorable.
Another thing about this drama is that the plot is light hearted and entertaining. It makes me feel good and it makes me want to watch more of it. I hope it will continue to be this way until the end. Looking forward to new episodes next week!
This drama is just amazing! It was really impressive from the beginning until the end. I want season 2 with ALL the cast, I especially want to see the 3 main leads: Lee Sang Yoon, Shin Sung Rok and Kim So Eun. I don't think I've ever seen anything similar to it. Friendly advice: do not marathon all episodes like I did or else you will have headache.
Haters, no matter what the rating will be, you can never change this fact: it is one of the best dramas out there and to me it's definitely the best. And I believe I'm not the only one who feels this way. I'm currently watching it again and I'm still very much in love with this wonderful drama.

Actually, one the best endings that I loved a lot! :D
