Her acting is fine. She's playing the role given to her perfectly.
You just named a bunch of Korean dramas... Of course Korean and Chinese acting would be a bit different. I am a huge fan of Korean dramas and new to Chinese because I didnt like the overacting but turns out i love it because it fits.They also overact in those dramas sometimes which is supposed to be the case.

Im confused. What was FL supposed to do when she basically had no senses. She understood nothing about love. She put her trust into ML and he kept hiding stuff from her, which is understandable, but you can't blame FL for being against him at time.
If stuff was just explained right away, there would be no misunderstanding because she loved and trusted him. Like this girl kept defending him and getting into trouble but he did some stupid stuff and/or hide stuff from (lie to) her. His heartache was his own fault most of the time I feel like.

Lol because everything he says is out of pride and jealousy. He's been in love with SS since the moment he met her and she's been annoyed with him. He doesn't know how to admit he's wrong and in love. It's kind of cute and sad, and I feel bad for him.
