If you have noticed other kdramas, they lean towards this idea of " letting your crush know you like them even when it's obvious it's far fetched So that you can move on to sth good". Some say it's not needed but in my case, I think it's vital, hiding a secret and more over it's about his coming out to his friend, I think it is needed cause JCY might get angry that why did he not tell him about his love choice
Even though the scenes cut off was saddening but I'll use my mind to make up for it but let's speak the truth, those intense moments (The way Pei Su pays rapt attention to Luo and there's something about the way he looks at LWZ and the way Luo now looks at PS after being in the basement) speaks for itself without being said. I bet little Pei Su already fell in love with LWZ 🤗. Come on, I will make do with how my mind gathers the scenes deleted for it. It is better than nothing.

While I'm also enjoying the series and I see where everyone's opinionated views came from, but I guess they wanted to focus on the side characters first and then the main, maybe from Ep 5, we get more interactions between SW and HS. We see HS clearly detaching himself from CY which caught Hoshik and CY by surprise cause he's always being all about CY. He is clearly giving SW a little bit of his time gradually. Their screen time was short, yes! Because they want to show that HS was really invested in CY hence the less screen time and hopefully we get more of them screentime between my pookies ❤️. 6 episodes left and I can't wait to see how the love line unravels. The way SW smiled in his room seeing that he is one step into HS universe, that's a hint
