Xu Qi An's major antagonist is going to be his father. Its not even in the story yet. His father is very smart, along the likes of Lord Wei, Supervisor. Oh bombshell - ML's father is Supervisor's 1st disciple. Dude want to make his name, over the Supervisor so he comes up with idea to replace the reigning king. But he is not strong enough to fight his teacher so he is in hiding. Supervisor is very very smart. Our ML always manages to stump his father. Its so amusing to read.

Xu Qi An is not simple boy living in the city with his uncle 's family. His father is indeed Xu family's 1st son (Xu Pinghzi is 2nd son) but his mother is a Dafeng princess (royalty). How his mother is princess is another story and mostly related to the main villain of most probably s2 of this show. Don't worry Linan is not related to him, they are many many generations apart in relation.

Even in the book, Linan is my least liked female characters. Even a random side piece villain lady has more brain than her. But in the book our ML likes these kind of girls!! I wont spoil further but I really hope they do something with her otherwise I wont be able to immerse myself.
