I have been watching it every week and it has not gone down for me. I still love it.

Yes, I almost stopped watching because of them ( mainly the stepmom). But, these last couple of episodes were better. Hopefully, they don’t have too much of a story later.

This is my first family drama because normally I don’t like to watch more than 30 episodes. But, I am a sucker for romance and this kind of reminded me of the Sound of Music type story so it got my interest.

Aaaagghhh...couldn’t the writer leave me with a happier ending to episode 12 for the rest of the week?? I love Yumi and Woong together. I really want Woong to marry her, but I once read that a man is not serious or ready for marriage until he is financially secure. Poor Woong seems to really love Yumi, but just isn’t ready for marriage.😭😭😭

I loved this episode. But, tbh I was really worried that Sae Yi was going to call when Yumi was surprising Woong or the present was from her or something. LOL. I have PTSD from her.

Yeah, I totally get DS’s self guilt. Survivors frequently blame themselves. I also get the family members having misdirected blame because that happens in real life also. My problem is that who they blame here is illogical. The family should be blaming the guy who sold the dad the investment, if they don’t blame the dad. This other guy’s role in the dad’s attempted suicide was much bigger since he is the reason the dad lost the money. Also, it seems the wife should be blaming the truck driver or her husband’s driving. I love this kdrama but this episode frustrated me with how they went out of their way to blame DS.

To me, I get why DS blamed himself. I know that too often people will blame themselves when other people die, even if it is not their fault and like you said it just makes his character more admirable. But, the family did not know the whole story. All they knew was that the dad invested his money with someone ( who was not even Du Shik) and lost it. So, how do they come back and blame him? As for the friend’s wife, her man was driving the car. She should be glad that he did not kill both of them. If she is going to blame anyone it seems like it should be the truck driver ( who had plenty of time to stop IMO, LOL ) DS was done wrong by the family and the wife. I would have liked it if the scenario was that they had more valid reasons for blaming him and it turned out to be a misunderstanding (so that DS could stay a good guy).

Exactly! It should have been written different if they wanted Du Shik to not be a bad guy. Like maybe there was a big misunderstanding where everyone thought that it was his fault, but the truth comes out and it wasn’t. For the story they wrote I don’t see how any logical person could blame him. LOL, maybe I need to turn off the logical part if my brain like I have been doing with Lovers of the Red Sky. But, this injustice to Du Shik kills me! Aghhhh!

I agree. This was my least favorite episode. Nothing was his fault and yet everyone blamed him. You would think that if the family was not going to blame the security guy himself then they would blame the other guy that he invested with, not Du Shik. Like how does that even make any sense?! Then the friend was driving for Du Shik, but his distracted driving was to blame not Du Shik. How can the wife blame Du Shik? This episode was so irritating. They should have written the scenario better. Hopefully, the writer came back to their senses before writing episode 16.

I am amazed at KMJ’s acting. To go from Do You Like Brahams? to Moo Hak and make both characters totally believable (even though the are complete opposites) is true talent.
