I just rewatching and did not no one noticed Mo Caihuan pale complexion? It is a nod to donghua and how she is ill which when can suspect once S2 arrives. She would be dead but reincarnated to Wang Ning / Zi Ling. I see many netizens on Weibo pointed it out as well. It is good that drama truly is closely following donghua. Hope for at least S2 at most.

it won’t be that early YY got diagnosed with hip illness and is recovering from surgery on hip and leg. he still has nails etc inside and it still hurts him. also drama has to possibly recast most of characters as donghua immortal chapter this drama has ended. it takes time with drama if s2 it will be 2027.
