Okay remember yall when I said I wanted Kiku and Yan An in a lead role as CP. Well that desert scene definitely solidified it for me. Also Tian Jia Rui and Kiku. I feel like the director is unintentionally or very subtly intentionally giving our girl Lu Wu Yi. Two men. (Just so far the other one isn’t in love with her.) She’s also giving final boss with these two. These three to me give off such a aura farming that I haven’t seen in drama characters in years. they complement each other well. You have hubby dragon god, Wifey fox demon, and the special / identity / bodyguard defender to the royal family. that’s how I felt when watching that episode.

well both are main leads and you’re entitled to your opinion but Kiku isn’t insufferable. in fact she’s getting a lot of praise for her role in this drama as her best work.

right like when the sisters came back. the camera panned to each sister man but when they included him (unintentionally) I feel like they were giving some (unintentional) shipping vibes with him and her. I’m just waiting 😭😭
