yes it’s filmed this year. I’m guessing to have it fit in more lined with her character. I’m not a fan of this actress but she has won me with this role. So if her roles are like this in the future she’ll become a favorite of mines. I have TUCS on hold at the moment. It’s not a bad drama I just really wanted to see Neo in a ancient puppet drama again. Glory gave me my wish. I’ll pick TUCS back up once this is finished.

it just finished filming this year I believe. So it’s pretty recent. Makeup wise I saw on Weibo it’s to fit the dynasty time but who knows. I do agree the storyline is definitely refreshing this an xianxia type dramas are my favorites. but I’m a sucker for a good ancient puppet drama.

you gotta remember this is mango tv drama produced. The only reason TUS is doing 3 episodes a day is (just my guess) to go ahead and have it completed by the beginning of Jan. I guess to not overlap with this drama or to pushed out something else. That drama is IqYI produced and normally you only get two episodes a day with the third one having to purchase extra for. Just my take. 😊

Finished episode one. What a ending. So the ML has a spy in his camp. The FL has spies in her own family and everyone is just cunning. This is really a treat. I also loved the vibe an the way they shot this. Gives you the feeling as if you’re actually there. But can we talk about how Cheng Xiao is giving life to her character. I did not expect her to play someone villainous but I am here for it. 😊

First impressions so far I did not expect to love this like I do but damn this might be another end of the year 2025 hit drama. Another one for Neo and to me Naza first. She absolutely in the beginning of episode 1 made me believe her cruelty towards those who take her trust in vain. I thought she was about to throw old girl over the mountain cliff but glad she didn’t. Also why the hell I thought that was a truly old woman 😭😫I know it’s too early to rate after four episodes but I’m sorry it’s a 10 in my book as of now. My rating will change depending on how the storyline progress. It’s also nice to see Neo sworn brother from dashing youth in episode 1. Really surprised by how much I’m enjoying this. Just thought I’ll be here for Neo and a few other favs but I’m really enjoying so far everyone they’ve introduced. including naza. I can now say she’s not just a really beautiful girl but also a pretty good actress. Her character gives me He Weifang, from flourished peony / In name of blossom/ and Jiang Xuening (story of Kunning palace, Wei Ying Luo in Story of Yanxi palace, even Ruyi’s Royal love in the palace. Love it.

Agreed. This one will be priority as well for me. Not just because he’s first billing but honestly I’ve been waiting for another ancient puppet role from him. His character looks and kinda reminds me of girl like me. which was my first role of his. so I’m excited for this one the most.

I don’t care about her looks as I explained in my last comment this actress isn’t my favorite. but the retuers I’m seeing might give me some hope into liking her in this drama at least. I also don’t mind those tropes makes for good storytelling

I always thought this was called the glory which would’ve kinda made it a little less confusing but I think the other drama is named this. could’ve been palace of glory or story of glory

hurry hurry hurry. I’m actually ready to see Nezer character. she’s not a typical character from what I’m seeing and the gifs I got. netizens are praising this as her best role just from clips. I have to agree an I haven’t even watched the drama yet but visually and the expressions are on point. I hope this doesn’t disappoint. 😭
