Gender benders are my guilty pleasure. Its my favorite genre when I first started reading manga/manhwa such as Hana Kimi, Ranma 1/2, 1/2 Prince, Saver, Hana no Kishi etc. I've also tried creating a "boyish" for fun when I was younger in my teens among my siblings and cousins. I tricked my grandpa into thinking I was my younger brother. Safe to say my parents and grandma did not approve of it, as they are very conservative. I, also, am naturally "boyish" or "masculine" even though I wear skirts, put make up on (didn't start wearing it til was 22ish on special occasions) and all that is consider "feminine". It was fun reading your article! My favorite gender bender drama would have to be Coffee Prince, it was simply done right. Anyway, fighting! Girls still very much rule, but guys are cool too xD
*sigh* Guess China's actors, directors, producers and etc will just have to get more creative in a country with little room for creativity. Its a good thing that these certain parties just don't get art because there are certain things that just flies right over their heads. It Is an intelligent language of freedom that only people who lose their freedom can truly understand how much art is freedom. The oppressor can't see it. The problem with such censorship is that IT WILL NOT LAST because this isn't the same world as before.
Finally someone said it. I couldn't continue to watch that drama because of it, so its plot and cringe was too…
Is it not annoying for you when you feel you have to finish a drama because you don't want to leave it un-finished? I don't know if that makes sense but it mostly pertains to dramas you don't really like but don't really extremely hate to the point of dropping xD
Oo, that sounds cool, I shall put it on my list!
Small correction: Weinstein is not an actor but an executive producer.
