I really enjoyed My Bias, My Boss! From the beginning, this K-drama pulled me in with its fun storyline, adorable romance, emotional moments, and the chemistry between the leads. It has that comforting K-drama charm where you can simply sit back, get invested in the characters, and enjoy watching their relationship develop. There were plenty of cute moments that genuinely made me smile, while the more emotional scenes gave the story some much-needed depth.Kim Hye-jun as Nam Da-reum was easily one of my favorite parts of the drama. I have watched several K-dramas featuring her before, and I have loved her in every single one, so seeing her take on this role was something I was particularly excited about. Once again, she delivered such a wonderful performance. She has this incredible ability to make her characters feel natural and emotionally believable, and I found myself completely invested in her character throughout the drama. Honestly, Kim Hye-jun continues to prove why she is one of those actresses I will happily watch in anything.
This was actually my first K-drama with Kang Hoon as a lead, and I have to say, what a great first impression! I really liked him in this role of Kang Ha-gi. His chemistry with Kim Hye-jun worked so well for me, especially during the cute and softer romantic moments. Their interactions had a lovely warmth to them, and I genuinely enjoyed watching their relationship progress. Kang Hoon definitely left me wanting to see more of him in future dramas.
Overall, My Bias, My Boss was such a lovely watch for me. Our Movie is honestly one of MY MOST FAVORITE EMOTIONAL K-DRAMAS & ROM-MELODRAMAS that I have ever seen. I have been watching K-dramas for a long time, and this one really got to me in a way I was not expecting. The storyline is beautiful, emotional, and incredibly engaging, with just the right amount of romance, drama, suspense, and thriller elements. It takes you through such an EXTREME ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS that I was completely invested from beginning to end. I went into this expecting to enjoy it, but I ended up absolutely loving it.Namkoong Min once again proves why he is one of my MOST FAVORITE Korean actors. He is absolutely handsome, but more importantly, his performance here is phenomenal. He brings so much depth and emotion to his character, and every expression and emotional moment feels incredibly natural. Jeon Yeo-been is absolutely beautiful and equally amazing, and her performance perfectly complements Namkoong Min. Their acting together was simply PERFECT, and the chemistry between them is one of the biggest reasons I loved this drama so much. Their relationship feels genuine, emotional, complicated, and incredibly easy to become attached to.
I also really loved the rest of the cast and how well everyone fit into the story. The drama does a fantastic job balancing its romance and emotional storytelling with its thriller elements, and I genuinely loved the way the storyline kept pulling me deeper into the characters. There are so many moments that made me smile, hurt, worry, and just sit there processing my emotions. The chemistry between the couples is fantastic, and the emotional highs and lows are handled beautifully without needing spoilers to explain why they work so well.
Overall, Our Movie is absolutely a drama I will remember for a long time. The extreme rollercoaster of emotions throughout the story is something I will not forget anytime soon.Namkoong Min once again proves why he is one of my most favorite Korean actors. He was absolutely incredible in this drama, and honestly, he is also ridiculously handsome here. It’s intense without being mindless, violent without being empty, and surprisingly emotional beneath all the bloodshed. I was hooked from start to finish.Jeon Do-yeon is the heart and soul of this film. After loving her so much in Crash Course in Romance, seeing her transform so effortlessly into this role was incredible. The contrast alone is stunning — from warmth and everyday vulnerability to icy control and lethal precision. She doesn’t just play an assassin; she becomes her. Every movement, every look, every moment feels deliberate and commanding.
What makes her performance so special is the emotional depth she brings beneath the action. There’s restraint, conflict, and quiet humanity layered into her character, making her feel real rather than exaggerated. She dominates the screen without ever needing to overact, proving once again why she’s one of the finest actresses in Korean cinema.
The supporting cast is excellent as well, adding tension, complexity, and weight to the story. The film’s world feels polished and intentional, and the action choreography is clean, stylish, and impactful rather than chaotic. Every fight feels purposeful, every confrontation charged.
Kill Bok-soon is a thrilling, unforgettable experience, but above all, it’s a showcase of Jeon Do-yeon’s brilliance. Loving her in CCIR and then witnessing this performance only deepened my admiration. She’s phenomenal — and this film is proof of her incredible range.
