YESSS THATS WHAT I WANT TO SAY TOO, like the story suggest, it is fantasy, how i wish the writer keep fantasizing the story instead of taking a turn at the end to make it realistic which is NOT REALISTIC AT ALL. Like, if you want at first decide to make it fantasy, at least end it with fantasy elements too instead THEY really just “okay, we need a little bit of reality at the ending” and proceed to make female lead continue her life like nothing happen to her for almost 3 months trapped in her story. Such a disappointment really, because the storyline really *chef kiss* i can give.
i don't know what to say about the ending. The whole storyline is good, but why the ending is just like that? Did they want to mimick Scarlet Heart the whole thing going on and then boom irl they just met and smiling to each other like that?
I expect higher than that!! But to be honest, the writer really desperate to make this story ending realistically. And of course, she can't just go to 'real life Qin Yu' and said hey i found you in my novel, you're my character, my male lead, my king in that world. But the writer can just twist turn the story because the story itself is fantasy, so there’s no need to make it realistic.
When i saw the drama at tiktok, i was thinking Romance of tiger and rose because of the plot, and do proceed to watch it. Halfway through it, i do have expected that the ending would be kinda the same with Romance of Tiger and Rose, because they can’t bring the character came out but I DO WISH THEY CAN like kdrama W where the character came out from their world. But instead the writer make the male lead become another whole new person in real life while in ROTAR, Han Shou remember right, i dont remember, correct me if im wrong.
ARGHHH. but still i need Yi Yi and Qin Yu in another drama again please. Their chemistry is one of the best i can say... But overall, i think that's supposed to be the most realistically ending ever the writer can gave us huhu ALTHOUGH INITIALLY AT FIRST LITERALLY the whole story itself is not realistic at all and absurd like going into story trapped inside is already an absurd thing, why not keep the ending unrealistically and fantasy like instead of giving a “realistic but not realistic at all” ending.
It is a shame indeed, given that the actor, actress really did well, the whole plot storyline was going strong indeed and then boom one last episode just ruined it all. BUT Overall, it is great ride indeed watching this short drama. They can just compile all and make a movie instead maybe…?
sorry for the long paragraph, but yes you can watch it just ignore the ending and focus on the character and the story that Yi Yi write HAHAHA if that’s make sense. Because i think it is worth my time but just a bit dissatisfied with the ending but it’s okay :)))
