I'm dying to know the age of the people who commented that fl is immature, doesn't defend itself, is embarrassing,…
You said everything that needed to be said. She is trying her best to stand up for herself, there are a lot of people that can relate to her because these things do happen in real life. The fact that these people can't comprehend it's comedy so things are gonna be a bit comical, and they complain.
People just love to hate the fl. She's not even doing anything bad.
I'm back to vent..π€£ boy the more they're trying to make us pity Na Rae the more I hate her. things could've…
I can totally relate. I loved the rest of the drama, and I really hated this, I mean do they really had to. It's like you are enjoying a good dinner and half way later find something that looks like a cockroach. I would have given it a higher rating but this part of the story was just not it. Even after finishing the drama, I end up remembering this and hate it. Mayb if I didn't like the test of the drama I wouldn't care this much. But it's like they ruined a really good drama for me.
I watched sword and fairy 6 as my first introduction to Xu Kai because I thought he would be cute in it. Little did I know, he's way cuter here. Just finished the first episode and I like him already.
I just happened to watch the trailer and oh my oh my.... But knowing that it's gonna take so long for it to air, I was like I should have watched it wayyy later, the trailer is just fire. and ZLH is the man. I hope it airs asap.
Byeon Woo Seok at times reminds of SHINee's Minho, even though they might not look similar I dunno, but there is something about him that reminds me of Minho. Is it just me? Or there really is a similarity between them? At certain angles or expressions or something. ?
EDIT: I guess there really might be something SHINee about him π After you guys said Taemin. Now I can't stop seeing Taemin in him.
I really like his character hereeeee. Like you know dude is lowkey cool with a dash of loser vibes. And is a goof…
"lowkey cool with a bit of loser vibes" is just the perfect description of his character π it's hard to be a bit of both at the same time, but he's too good at it π
I remember I first saw Lee Seung Hyub (InHyuk) in "Sh**ting stars". I liked him there, and I was actually hoping for him to get more bigger roles in the future. I am glad he got casted in this drama with how hit this drama is going. I am so happy for him *_*
I know most writers of dramas are women (don't know about this one, though). So why oh WHY they have to write…
For the exaggerated comedy aspect, one episode was actually enough to tell. Maybe you haven't watched such dramas before. But well, now you have experience, so you'll know sooner. Good luck

But if you are ok with a low moral criminal fl who is somehow a good person getting a happy ending without getting consequences even just like that and you don't even judge her but rather defend her. Please don't judge this one either. She's gonna change anyway. Yes it might be an overused trope, but no need to hate it. People enjoy it. It's for fun. It may not be for you but it doesn't mean it's bad. It was very obvious in the start that it's gonna be a cartoonish comedy type drama and in such dramas, anything can happen because it's comedy. They will exaggerate. If you didn't know what you were getting into, well now you know. So maybe next time stay awake from dramas like these

If we are going to go on every aspect of drama writing then it's gonna take us days to finish this discussion lol, if we go in about mls now that will be another long thread π so yeah, my comment was specifically for fls at the moment. Since I've already seen that people really hate that ml trope anyway, the bad guy at first, changes after meeting fl and falling in love. Well in that trope there is that fantasy behind it you know the one. "I can change him" . Which was extremely popular at one time. But now people hate it usually, because they realize the reality is not like that. You see even in dramas it's not the story like fl really needed to be saved by ml etc but you will end up still seeing cliche scenes like these, tripping and being saved blah blah it's overused. I cringe at times, the fl always with her eyes popping out when it happens ml swallowing saliva because he's nervous, even when the other aspects of dramas are fine, but you sometimes still end up finding scenes like these. The fl just has to get weirdly shock at something and just fall back. I have been shocked . I've never just fell back throwing everything I had in my hand in the air anyway. But I know it's a drama and you're always gonna find such scenes , they are like some romantic stuff

What you said about villain being interesting. Yes I agree villains are interesting... My point was. First thing I need you to know that i am not talking about Villains, no. When writers make bad fls into actual heroines, even though they act like villains but they tend to be heroines meaning good person, even though they do crimes but somehow the narrative changes and they are actually good, they get forgiveness everyone accepts them it's happy romantic ending for them. I can understand where villain might be the main character and that can be interesting. But they are still villains. Cool Evil Villain I actually like. But I can't understand when they make them somehow into good people. It's almost as if they are gaslighting the audience. Like somehow every evil deed they did, was not really that, or they were not actually the ones doing it, they either justify it somehow and sometimes they don't even address it that there was some serious problems there, oh must be the wind. And safe to say that if this isn't what you like. Especially since it's also exaggerated comic effect, and there nothing else that you might have here to just stay and watch this drama, it's better to dropped it sooner than later. I usually watch dramas if there is something I wish to see even if a character may annoy me too much, so it depends. If you have nothing in this drama that you like, yes don't watch it any further.

Well of course writers end up doing this. You see even when they make an fl that is on the bad side, they don't do that moderately either. But people are quick to defend the bad fls as far as I see. Even if that fl is doing literal crimes, people are like hey don't judge her, so I am like, why people are judging this kind of fl if they don't wanna judge that kind of fl. Just stop judging anyone if you don't want people to judge a certain kind of fl. You see I actually am the kind of person who mostly always would have some things I don't agree with writers in a lot of dramas so I get your point. But I see double standards. You write a criminal fl and people would actually rejoice and defend her no matter what she does, so why hate this kind. People literally hating her for looking old even now that is literally rude. sheesh
The fact that these people can't comprehend it's comedy so things are gonna be a bit comical, and they complain.
