What's making me laugh is the news constantly compare this drama to Story of Minglan, accusing this drama of being a "family fight" drama but it turns out this drama is political oriented and business oriented. I'm starting to wonder which one is the one that is "family fight", and as if there's a need to throw shade at one another, I don't care if a drama falls under family fight, comedy, xianxia, nonseriousness, etc. There is no crime in any of that. Some people market so shamelessly, always misleading people.

Whew, at least there is 1 episode, if there's none at all I might as well wait and binge watching later.

I must praise that Meng Ziyi handled "elegance" really really well. Her character is very well mannered and dignified.

It's unfortunate, I love Zheng Ye Cheng, and I quite like Seven Tan. I dropped at episode 8, just not interesting. The chemistry was cute though. Have to say bye. My last words for them, they don't need to worry bc this year is very competitive, I'm afraid this drama might fare well but not crazy enough to compete with the other stuff going around. From what I read, Zhao Liying hired an employee to post "I looked great that night, don't be crooked" using her account. Either she's lazy to post it herself, or she's too illiterate, or she hires professionals to play marketing so she will not interrupt how they market.
She got caught bc the IP address showed as Beijing while she was in Singapore.
Zhao Liying got embarrassed and quickly posted "Yes, I made the post myself".
It didn't add up. From what I believe, it's just Zhao Liying's marketing. Recently, lots of the 90's flowers are rising to the top and she's afraid of becoming non-existence. She just want attention.
First, she hired some people to say bad things about her clothes, then she hired someone to reply to the fans to make it look like she's awesome because she lectures her toxic fans. She never lectures her toxic fans ever, she's pretending to do it now to get some attention.

Seven Tan's acting is very different in this one, I haven't watch her in contemporary before so I don't know if she'd played funny before but this is the first time her character is so funny.
