Unpopular opinion but i don't really hate eunmi in ep8 (i don't like her in general though) but i'm 36yo and also a Mother. The way i see it i can see her as a Mom doing (her own) Mom thing as well: getting angry at your daughter for not even contacting you before sleeping overnight somewhere, not calling Jin Hee while in danger as not to harm her and letting the bedroom door open to help Jin Hee if she gets confused on what to do with the pregnant girl..those to me looks like what Mothers do (and not all Mothers are the same..mine was an Angel..while i myself still need to learn so much more even at 36). And those whose saying a 40 yo something cannot act lovey dovey.. trust me even if you are 'older' you can still feel that way when seeing someone you love. And Eunmi might be doing it too openly in front of Jinhee in my opinion, but hey she just met her 1st love who she had a kid with when she was only 16 or 17.
Yeay loved the ending! Only few itty bitty parts that i wished would happened:
-like everyone else i wished to see badass naksu once more. But i fully accepted when she told Jang Uk she doesn't want those powers back now that she have divine priestest powers. And those assasin days were darkest days for her (being Jinmu's puppet)
-i had wished at leasttt give her a new look in the end. A mixture of Naksu og style (top bun and not skirty flowy dress) and priestest era style
-to those who asked what happened to JBY soul: my take is she left for good. She told JU she is seol Ran and she couldn't leave this world because she saw what was going to happen with the fire bird. Now that mission is done she left. And mother Jin told master lee as well: jby/jsr entrusted that body to naksu/yeong before she left this world so she does not hate yeong anymore.
-and to those who asked why yeong still got the divine power: well its JBY's body. Blood and all. And if you noticed jby body when jsr is awake is blind and has more power than the usual yeong in jby body. So there are still differences.
-does k dramas do specials like jdramas? If so i would loveee to see the couple's adventure finding Jinyowon relics!
-those people saving mudeok from drowning: those kids that kept popping up with master Lee. Those kids may be some kind of deities? They wore these ribbons (blue, pink) and one of the rescuer clearly got a ribbon on her/his head. Maybe they saved mudeok with their real shape (not kids)
-but this could easily be debunked cause mudeok was holding naksu's sword. And we saw that Uk ended up using the sword in part 2. Does that mean mudeok was captured by Jin clan? CP's helpers? And then they brought back the sword to daeho but mudeok was hidden, petrified?
-Uk will roam as a free man or as a vigilante? (Wanted for assisting Naksu)
-not a theory but pleaseee dont go with the boring amnesia trope
-and i didn't like Papa Jin died without knowing that was Bueyon!
With 2 episodes left, couldn't help but to theorize🤣
-what if bu yeon's father is jang gang..that's why its crucial in part 2 Naksu needs to turn into her old body so they can mary. (This plot seems so brutal to Dohwa and Uk who already suffered the most though😭)
-when Bu Yeon is in her own body again, she'll be the leader of Jin, Dang Gu and Cho yeon leader of Songrim, and Uk the next Gwangju. CP as the good king who's besties with gwangju uk. And maybe Naksu can be the head of constellations just like her Father
-not a theory, but Naksu's father soul shifting story feels like a loophole to me. If he soul shifted than whos soul died when he died? (Or was it like jang gang and the late king, they soul shift and shift back?)
