I found playboy disturbing as hell, while this i just light. That plot is pretty simple. Go to Tokyo, meet up, have fun, that’s about it. It’s superficial and campy.

It was explicit but compared to the twisted psychological things I have seen (Playboyy, Friend Forever) I would rather watch this anytime :)

Sometimes you want something deep, sometimes you want two guys going at it on a staircase. I say thank you to them for indulging my viewing pleasure.

Nothing shallow about a good NC scene. Personally I love and sometimes laugh at how creative the art directors are at placing props so you can’t see the entire scenes.

I am not familiar with the author. That being said, I also don’t mind waiting for a good story to unravel. Nothing is worse though when it doesn’t as you anticipate.

Played by Sam Lin who was in my favourite BL of all time We Best Love. His portrayal of Gao Shide is legendary.

This series is the slowest burn ever.

Dark but beautiful. Love how these two characters need each other and how the story is unraveling at a perfect pace. Excellent so far.🧑‍🍳

By episode 4 the main couple has not had more than 2 minutes of interaction. Contrast it to Love in the Air where the main couple was in a bathtub. Just saying.
