I am wondering if we have another Unforgotten Night on our hands…

This series is the biggest disappointment for me so far. It was hyped as a sophisticated BL drama and I don’t know what the hell it is, goofy music, lame sidekicks, no real plot so far…god please pull out a save because Love In the Air can’t be the only decent BL airing right now.

What’s sad is this show has a pretty decent production budget, decent actors , amazing locations all gone to shit because some crap writer can’t follow a simple narrative structure of boy meets boy, boy falls in love with boy, some conflict happens which gets resolved, some banging hot BL sex occurs and we’re all freaking happy. We ALL could have wrote a better story than this piece of crap.

They figure if they add more friend the story has a chance of getting better. No dice.

In 1976, The Eagles wrote a horrible yet prolific song called Hotel California where the guests check in but never leave. This pretty much sums up this series. I feel like I have been watching this series for forty years. It’s horrible, but for some reason I button mash - fast forward each episode hoping it redeems itself (it doses not) as Ohm and Fluke act their little hearts out (bless them). God save me from this misery and in the final episode give us banging hot BL sex with both couples (one on a horse) the female villain gets run over by the butler in a Ferrari as red apples fall from the sky.

OMG the adult magazines and tissues comments is solid gold.

It never ends…we are just stuck ins one perpetual never ending hell of apples, bad storylines, no romance and pretty horses

This isn’t in the same league as Unforgotten Night. That show was a freaking masterpiece. And decent interaction between the leads. This series is a bunch of plant and apple holding with zippo romance.

Watching on 4x speed actually makes it viewable

This series is the ultimate click bait….luring you in with the possibility of a nice romance and NOPE!!!! You don’t get it! You get a big jumbled mess of about six stories and almost no romantic interconnection with the leads. You feel like a sucker once you start watching it.

You are not wrong. Pick a storyline and stick with it. It’s such a mess.

Someone earlier in the posts described this series accurately as a telenovela style series and they were absolutely right. Each episode becomes more outrageous. I gave up hope round episode 5 of ever seeing some proper romance between Khim and Sun. The evil writer will cram it it to one episode and even then it won’t be enough. I find I fast forward through most episodes now. I miss Unforgotten Night.
