Finished. Finally. For me this drama was a mess that dragged too long. I tried to like this but after episode 7 or 8 I already lost interest.. I made myself finish this just to see how they ended it and the end didn't make sense to me. I like Yoon Si Yoon as an actor but in here I felt that he didn't shine that much as Kwak Si Yang for example, I felt like Si Yoon was more of a supporting role than main >___< Only plus in this was cinematography which I enjoyed.
I joined 2011 and I remember too, building up my list couple days. I had watched 50 something dramas and had hard time remembering them lmao. I still don't know if I have seen something I have not put on my list because I started watching asian dramas in 2009 xD One thing I don't quite understand though; even if Ji Chang Wook is my favorite actor I didn't get the healer hype. I mean it was a great drama and all but I wasn't like amazed amazed by it.. I don't even know what I'm talking about but anyway xD I wasn't that into Healer even though I loved main characters and I loved plotline.
I myself had a first big slump after Secret Garden aired lol. Who remembers Secret garden hype xD
I honestly didn't like this at all.. I watched this because of Ji Chang Wook and I had to make myself watch this until the end.. especially first half was so boring, full of political talks and less fighting scenes. If you don't like sageuk that concentrates heavily on politics, don't watch this...
I feel like pretty much everyone else in here; if you have to watch this, watch only the first 20 episodes. I would personally like to give the writers 'how to ruin a perfect drama in just over 10 episodes' -award. I liked the first half but then the strong and independent characters started to turn into spineless idiots.. *sigh*
I've watched a bunch of j-dramas before starting watching k-dramas (because I was huge japan fan before I got into korean culture) and even then I thought that j-dramas aren't addictive enough. They often have ridiculous love triangles or ridiculous side characters that are trying to be the funny guys but end up ruining the whole story. For me k-dramas just often have more better stories. And this is just my personal preferance that korean actors are more handsome. Even when I didn't know korean dramas and watched japanese dramas I thought that japanese actors were a bit childlike...<_< but every now and then I enjoy watching j-dramas if the story is good. They're often lighter than k-dramas also.
Suzy, Kim Woobin, Im Joohwan and Im Jueun in a same drama... wow, definetly gonna watch this! Even though the story (at least how it's described) doesn't really appeal to me that much but with that cast I'm watching it anyway :P maybe it turns out to be different like sometimes dramas can have a bit misleading description how the story is...
I've seen better family dramas. I found this actually pretty tiring, I even skipped some parts. I don't understand why this is so highly rated... true, it had many good story parts but I felt like it was repeating itself over and over after 20 something episodes... well, at least I found one more actors to follow because of this drama, I liked Choi Tae Joon's role and acting~
I have watched both Vampire prosecutors and all I can think of is why is this connected to those series? I didn't even know that before I read it somewhere a little after I started watching this vampire detective. Honestly for me, Vampire prosecutor was 100% more interesting.. I'm kind of forcing myself to watch this until the end because I already lost interest but I still want to see how they end this.
I have read the manga series long time ago but I liked the story and I decided to check this out. Was not dissappointed, this is one of the best japanese dramas I have watched! Can't wait to see how they will make the ending~
I just came back from South-Korea and this was everywhere. It was used to advertised basically everything you can imagine because it was immensanely popular. There's still the special episodes they're gonna air and people are waiting for those like no other. And I can totally understand because I myself am also totally hooked. I'm a bit late watching these since I couldn't watch any episode while I was in korea (because my hostel didn't have a tv) but it would have been awesome to follow a live broadcast :P I had to buy this OST also because it's also very great! But I had to look through couple stores because it was sold out in so many :,D
I don't understand why people comment this drama is bad. I'm liking this very much and it's really hard to get me like about soldier themed drama. They're doing it right apparently since so many more than me are completely hooked. I love all the characters also, I don't find any of main or side roles really annoying. And I think Song Joongki is shining in here, he's doing a great job!
