This was a really perfect drama. Story was well told and actors did so well. I like the level of care and reciprocation in friends to lovers trope, it's so beautiful and heartwarming. Their friends-to-lovers transition was so natural and realistic. And the kiss scenes?? Bruhh😭 I was blown away, the FL and ML are fantastic actors pls✋ Finally, I need to know what it is about Cheng Hui, like, I am insanely attracted to him. His voice???? omg😭 His chemistry with Sheng Ni Na is crazy🤭 I laughed a lot watching this drama, Wei Ran and his wife are humorous😭
I experienced many emotions watching this drama. it feels like a warm hug, it is also very hilarious. The SML is the most hilarious person in this series, and the villagers too. Overall, I had a good time.
Well, there are some subtly sexist comments made in this drama that annoyed me. Not just comments but actions. Also, it almost looked like the ML got angry at the the sight of the FL with a man, it was so weird. On the bright side, they had really good chemistry and there kiss scenes are really great. The FL's grandpa is hilarious infact, there are so many funny characters in this series😭

I don't care about the OG version or whatever, I only care about this one and that was why I tried watching it. The local audience are pouring their compliments?? Fine! I am not the so-called local audience, this is about how I feel about the series. The comedy and acting is something I couldn't stand and I dropped it. You're clearly enjoying but did you see me come to tackle you for enjoying it? Let me be pls.
As an adaptation, this was really good. Like, they gave special attention to details, it almost felt like I was rewatching the Kdrama version. I only have one problem with it, why are the kiss scenes rushed??? It made me a bit mad like why are they always fast tracking the kiss scenes; director, are you anti-romance??😒
