So, I really loved the Mother-daughter relationship storyline. Like I really appreciate it, more stories about Mothers like that needs to be told.

I only have a problem with Xu Kai's Dad plot. It is just sadistic for the writer to write the plot that way. A father that literally traumatizes and abandons his son for the greater part of his life and then tries to come back into his life all of a sudden. And you have the side characters asking the son to forgive him since "he is his only family" and then when he finally gathers the courage to reconcile with his dad, his dad dies??? And you make him helplessly grieve a father that made him miserable for the better part of his life. For what exactly??

That's absolutely cruel, I don't care.

I loved and enjoyed this so much really. I liked that the characters acted their age especially when it comes to their love lives.It was very straight-to-the-point. There was no stupid back and forth in terms of their relationships. Just adult-kinda problems.

The friendship plot was perfect too. I looked forward to the scenes where the four of them were together. They are so hilarious especially the married guy😭

The most annoying character there?? Is the rich guy's mom, I wanted to bite off her ear mehn😭

Ok last one, I did like a few characters here like Little Mi, I was actually looking forward to his romance with FL's friend but I just can't bring myself to continue this. I liked the little girl too, she matched the ML's energy for me, she's a typical brat😭😂

I liked the mysterious Wu Bai, heard he has his own series with Appledog, might check it out.

Finally, the age-gap! Like wow, I started this without knowing they had a huge age gap 'cause I assumed since the FL was doing her masters, she would be like 25-26😭

Everybody that thought that this was okay is weird, and the fact that they even wrote the story in a way that the ML was constantly calling her "little girl" and infantalizing her??? side-eye😒 Like, it was as if they wanted the viewers to never forget the age-gap😭 ok bye!

Oh, I forgot. I had to shout at my screen several times when the ML comea on it. Like he is supposed to 30! Why is he acting like a 12year old. Always throwing tantrums even at official events, like act like the adult you are mehnn😭

It's crazy how nobody sees how immature he is with his grumpy attitude.

I promise I tried😭 I really tried to see this through but it felt like I was relieving BBF. Like, why is the ML treating her like that and everybody is going "oh, that's how he is". Broo, this is a huge NO! I really need to stop watching old rom-coms, it never ends well for me. They always have this stupid and degrading storyline where the FL acts like a puppy while the ML moves like a bully. That scene where he tossed her a candy like she was a dog instead of just handing it to her like a normal human being??? I swear, I lost it😭

Also, side-eye to y'all finding the FL annoying but not the ML, that's some crazy internalized misogyny there, goodluck to y'all tho.
