Honestly yes it is due to a lack of communication. Even on Shuyis part, when he went to the states why didn't he confront him then? Instead he just left without getting an explanation and made an assumption.
If we didn't have that drama there would be no story lol. I can't know for sure obviously but I think because he broke the agreement about not seeing him, maybe he at least thought to keep part of it? Also he knew that ShuYi looked up to his dad and didn't want them to have conflicts between them.

I am 38. I just watched Long time no see so I definitely love some steamy contacts lol. Have also just watched We Best Love 1 & 2 and I also love Word of Honor as well. I still enjoyed Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhans interactions, the only thing I didn’t like was the order in which the story was told because I found it kind of confusing

I loved the Untamed!

Because it's China and they have a ban against showing anything that has to do with the lgbtq community. So anything that portrays anything between the same sexes has to be watered down to the point where it's almost non-existent. You have shows like the Untamed where you start to see hints if you read between the lines. Or word of Honor which is a lot more has a lot more open for location and induendos.

When I watch these shows where the women dresses men sometimes I have to wonder just how blind the men are because some of these women are so delicately feminine it's like how can you not realize. Like even in Maiden homes when she took down her hair you could totally tell it was a woman but he still calling her brother. I have a question was the prince yet of chi the one that gave her the dagger since he has Yan in his name?

Honestly it kind of made sense because if she lives with him and runs into trouble he can get to her more quickly. She could also see it obviously made sense especially after she ended up getting hurt but the person of the year of the Tiger.

Marble when the marble turns blue is when he can become human, but it also is tied to her feelings because I can't remember what she's doing the first time it glowed but it didn't turn blue until he went to kiss her which could be a tributed to some kind of attraction to him.

Also there are parts where the sound cuts out, which I find really annoying.

He could shave actuallly written them before and just grabbed them when he was being taken. As for the cliff it looked like she landed in the river so then her injuries would not have been as severe. Honestly how was he to know she would be in danger lol.
