let’s have some fun while waiting, what’s the ending you think this will have?
I haven' read the novel but from comments I've read word gets back to JL that he died in battle. Duke Su and the Emperor have a bet going where he can't tell hee he survived until a year later I find this kind of annoying because I feel like it's really mean to have this kind of bet. Apparently she tells or says something along the lines that if he doesn't come back she won't remarry so maybe this is a test to see if she will stay true to her word but I think that considering what she'd gone through this is actually quite cruel to do to make her suffer and grieve like that thinking that he had died and it makes me not like the emperor just a little bit. I think especially because apparently in the novel they have a daughter so I don't know if their child is born during the war or if she finds out she's pregnant after he comes back but to have to go all through that and then find out that they lied to you makes me kind of angry at least if I were her I'd be really angry.
This is just in the novel so who knows what they'll do at the end of the drama series a lot of the times I'm script writers are famous for changing the endings where novels have happy endings and the series more often than not has a sad or open ending. Or most likely they'll Rush the ending and all will see is him returning home and her opening the doors to meet him and then that'll be the end LOL
I wonder what ending that Jiang Ruo Yao will be...
I have read Comments from people who have read the novel let's just say what happens to her is pretty nasty. I would say in fact all the people that the female lead gets revenge on from what I understand have pretty satisfying endings LOL
after dropped the "fox" I find this and im enjoying every second of it, still on ep 6 and I really can feel all…
Also dropped the fox which I was watching before this although since the finale is next week I might go back to it since waiting for the episodes is torture LOL
I think when she started relying on him. First, he helped her solve the poison and was there for her during her…
What I understand from what others have said from reading the novel, which I haven’t that you actually don’t see very much of their interactions until much later in the novel. So we are already getting way more interactions than they even had in the book. Now that dramas can only be 40 episodes. They don’t have the time to wait and have to show us more quickly.
Somebody had responded to one of my comments by stating that the first half is her story and the second half is Duke Su’s story. So I think that they have to have enough time to get her view out of the way and dealt with, and then we switch over to more of his point of view in the latter half
that would make SE for FL...she already 'died', experienced tragedy in marriage, she lives in constant trepidation…
I have never watched the scent of Time I think part of the problem is they have these dramas with transmigration or reincarnation and they’re taboo subjects so then they have to change that aspect of the story to fall in line with censorship
first 30 eps were great but I think it should have ended there. Afterwards it really drags and the story gets…
I think that’s why China started making it so that series could only be 40 episodes long to cut out all the filler episodes that they would have in the super long dramas
so I’m watching this for the second or third time lol. I just loved it. It’s such an epic love story and since I’ve already watched it I just get past the scenes with pretty much everyone except for the main lead I cannot Stand He Xia or the stupid princess of Bai Lian so I just get past all their scenes now lol
I don't think she will get her XFF identity because of Jiang Li. She will clean XFF reputation, but if she tell…
I think that, even though from what I understand, they had to change several things from the novel that the one thing they’ll keep is her keeping the JLI identity Since that’s the one that she currently lives under and the only people that will know is obviously Duke Su, her maid and then eventually her father and brother
Is no on e shocked at how casual the ML is with skinship and how the FL goes with the flow. He literally hugged…
Well, I mean, yeah she just been injured so of course the shock would have her against him lol. I wouldn’t necessarily say she goes with the flow because when he was trying to remove the top player in order to dress her wound, she stopped him. Lol
He did not oppose the damage to his wife's reputation, he helped. He set a second trap for his wife, drugging…
I’ve seen some explanations from other commenters that the court is actually divided into different factions and that there’s a power struggle going on. The only reason the Emperor is on the throne is because the princess sacrifice herself to become a hostage. We don’t know why she was able to come back, but she has a lot of powerful people in court backing her and that’s why the emperor appears to not put up a fuss when she acts out because he knows she’s crazy and doesn’t care about anything.
What I understand in the novel is that Murderous Shen was more manipulative and more of a psycho in the novel and that he just didn’t have any guilt or remorse towards his wife because the only thing he cared about was the fastest way to gain fame and recognition. Apparently, in the novel from other comments overhead, the princess never abused him the way they portray the show. Apparently, in the novel it was the princess that killed her not her husband although since I’ve never read the novel somebody else can correct me since I’m going off what other people said lol.
As for how she got out of the grave, don’t forget, even though her hands were tied, they were tied in front of her and she had the flute so the flute could’ve helped her dig her out.
He's suspicious of her identity cause he once saw Xue Fengfai on the streets. He's pretty sure she's not Jiang…
Also I read another comment where he actually fell in love with her at first sight when he saw her on the street but didn’t make any moves because she was somebody else’s wife
This girl sleeping with the man willingly to become his wife and then playing the victim makes me sick. Girl,…
I think that because she’s been taught that she’s inferior her entire life and that she always has to give way to everyone else around her and put up with being bullied Makes me think that she doesn’t realize she deserves something better.
Well, on the one hand I’m like good for you finally for fighting for what you want even though I don’t agree with what she did and I feel like she went about it the wrong way. She finally was able to get back at her cousin but she obviously wasn’t thinking ahead to how she would be treated in the main house which apparently isn’t very well.
Also, the fact that he even thought JL would meet him after she outright refused to have the engagement changed back to her Makes me laugh.
