I know what you mean, but I think you should continue because of the SIZZLING CHEMISTRY between the leads. Yes even though the lead character is annoying and selfish and it's taking forever to develop but the acting is FLAWLESS!!

I think the father is terminally ill it su KS how much drama the writer is bringing from his family side, and I don't think his mother in law is innocent I just have a feeling that lady is evil and the old granny knows, we'll wait and see. The lady that plays mother in law is amazing actress she was flawless in Pinocchio so I feel that she has an evil role you know to add more drama...

Haha I'm not that good but I've watched dramas without subs and I didn't go back to rewatch bUT it has to be where the acting is flawless and the actors facial expressions make u understand everything without subs. If I'm into a drama then I can watch an episode more than once but that is rare it has to be perfect lol. I'm not a picky rater but when it comes to rewatch in I'm super picky.

I will need your help in picking dramas to watch because I have a big list on hold.

@TurkishRose i think its done right i dont know maybe it was just because i was in the mood for cheesy n goofy drama that i really didn't care as much for uniqueness.

Omg for LMIYD book i would always be smiling like crazy while reading it because of the cuteness but in the drama honestly I'm just staring at Wallace or the subs when its other character's lol I'm still very new to chinese dramas so i can't really know what they r saying not like kdrama i almost dont need subs

@TurkishRose Yes it's for him I watched it because I wanted to see something for him while he's the lead and yes its sooooooo cheeeeesy and goofy and predictable but I still loved it maybe because it's a quick dose it's only 20 episodes each being 15-17 minutes long. It's AMAZING if ur into cheesy stuff if not then no u wouldn't like it.

It's not that I'm dissatisfied with the drama but definitely the book has more comedy and romance not just focused on the thriller and mystery aspect but I understand the time limit and the drama being on public television so there r many boundaries, I would say definitely read the book if your really into this drama I'm sure u will love the book.

Such an interesting storyline why just 2 episode's!!!
