Very nice! A calming movie with beautiful images. Nothing much happens, and that's okay. Both Fukuchi Momoko and Okayama Amane are great. Just looking at their faces in so many close-ups is worth the time.

This is NHK's 2025 Taiga Dorama. Sounds promising. With some interesting actors.

The Netflix subtitles for this show are trash, at least the German ones. For instance, they constantly translate the year Showa 61 as 1968 instead of 1986. And many translations for on-screen texts are missing. Fansubbers Wabi-Sabi Subs and earthcolors are doing a much, much better job than Netflix.
