Is there a love triangle in this drama? Do the lead couple break up after getting together? I hate both these troops so the answer would be really helpful. Thanks!!!
Wow! Somehow I predicted the end like at ep 24 (40 min ones) but I wasn't ready for the time leap and what followed. It was a bittersweet ending and I am still not sure whether to feel sad or happy...
So let me guess this right. Is he originally from 1988 and he's dreaming of 2018 or is the the other way around?1.…
Well, logically I believe 2018 to be the reality. If you ask why, that's because it's easy to dream about the past accurately since there are records, news, movies, and so much data. Whereas, dreaming 30 years in future is nearly impossible.
Also, in 2018 there's evidence about why Tae Joo was dreaming in a coma. He had already read all the information related to cases in 1988, seen the faces of police officers, and understood the timeline of events from the past. As for his father's death and those events, he had buried those memories within his subconsciousness. So, while in coma, his subconscious mind pieced together all the events in a visual manner, making him imagine he is there in 1988 as a part of the team. And the things he didn't knew, like that Chief's face in the last case, he imagined his neurosurgeon as the replacement, who belongs to his reality.
The human brain can be very complex and it can make you believe things if that means you can achieve your heart's desire. As for the ending, I am going to assume that Tae Joo attempted suicide and ended up in coma again. This means he might never wake up in 2018 but can live a happy life in 1988 in his head.
Not so happy ending but it doesn't make sense the other way around.
I think I have become desensitized to the series. I have stopped feeling anything after following it for so long. Today it felt like I am now just going through the process so that it ends... Sad!
