Title ABO Desire Spoiler
I feel pity for Gao Tu’s unrequited love.. He spent 10 whole years salvaging this „friendship” just for Shen to treat him so poorly every time. I’m anxious about further episodes, I don’t want to see him in pain..

It seems as if you have written so much yet so little. Your lack of grammar only makes it more real. It’s so effortless to read, I don’t know why, but I love your message.

People say this drama is melancholic and, most importantly, carries a deeper meaning beneath the surface—something I really crave in shows. I’m drawn to stories that make you reflect, feel sadness, and confront the reality of losing loved ones before it’s too late. I love dramas that evoke a bittersweet awareness and leave you thinking long after they’re over. So I'm gonna watch it now! Wish me luck-

Nope. I liked the movie much better. Overall, it's a good drama, but not really a good BL. There are too many…
I completely agree with your opinion. They tried to hide the long slow-burn romance between the male leads by putting all the blame on Taichi for being slow-witted. The so-called 'unsaid feelings' dragged on for far too long, and there was barely any romantic development between them till the last episode. Their connection could easily be interpreted as just a basic platonic friendship, with only one of them harboring feelings, while the other simply doesn’t realize it yet. It felt like they missed the opportunity to explore a deeper, more intense dynamic, leaving the chemistry almost nonexistent.

Fr, it baffles me when people criticize adaptations for not perfectly mirroring the original source. Translating a novel to the screen requires interpretation and tough choices. Directors have to decide what to include, omit, and how best to translate the story for a visual medium.

While some have strong attachments to source material, constantly nitpicking adaptations for their differences is counterproductive. These works should be judged on their own merits not just how faithfully they adhere to the original. A good adaptation captures the essence even if the execution differs.

Title 4Minutes Spoiler
I think Great is on his deathbed in the hospital, replaying the experiences we're currently seeing (the timer he sees in his room that started on 11:01 and is coming closer to 11:04 after certain situations may be the meaning of his close end). It's said the brain can survive 4 minutes without oxygen, during which it replays memories/past experiences.
From the first episode, he sees 4 minutes into the future, showcasing what he had possibly originally done and the consequences. Now, in his mind, he's changing these events, imagining what he wishes he could have done differently.
It appears Great is having a life-flashing-before-his-eyes experience, re-evaluating his past decisions and envisioning alternative paths and consequences, all in an attempt to find a better outcome before his time runs out.

(please if that may mean a sad ending Ima cry)

It seemed like he might’ve had some kind of relationship with Min before because he said to Seol that he’s used to Min using people and then leaving them? Not sure whether what he said was genuine and he actually wanted to protect him or he was just high on smth😭

Oh gosh I really wanna answer you but I watched it so long ago I barely remember. But as I know I think it was the second pair, one was a gym trainer and the other in high school? I’m not sure about this so

You don’t have to know the whole BTS lore. This series is just based on BTS hyyh era (2015). I’d recommend…
I guess you make a fair point - a drama should be able to draw in and satisfy viewers without requiring extensive prerequisite knowledge. Though a deeper familiarity with the source material even if slight may elevate the viewing experience. But you willing to potentially re-visit the series in the future as your own life perspective shifts after new experiences is a thoughtful stance. There’s value in both recognizing a work’s ability to stand alone as well as acknowledging how prior context can enhance one’s appreciation. By the way I haven’t watched the series yet so I can’t say much anyways.
