Interesting movie and story . The visual also good and beautiful. This is not horror, more into detective genre.…
FYI. This one doesn't. Chen Kaige (director) has been planning about the movie more than six years, and participated in the construction of the film set in Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, which resembles Tang’s capital Chang’an (the city of Xi’an in Shaanxi Province). He even planted 20,000 trees and waited for six years until they grew, in order to present the best “Chang’an” he could imagine. Besides, Chen said he also abandoned the idea of shooting a 3D film, so that the audience would be able to enjoy the high-quality scenery without the need for glasses or the dimming effect associated with the medium.
The construction cost about 1.3 billion yuan ( approximately 200 million dollars),
though separated from the film’s budget, and spans roughly 40 hectares.
According to the director himself, only three percent of the scenes in the movie were filmed in front of the green screen
So yeah. Don't remember where I read but it's there somewhere.
So... I saw half of the first episode, and before I continue watching I need to know... Is it totally different…
Yes they messed it big time, thier are character that aren't even supposed to be there at start, which are introduced way later in the story and the actual plots builds up slowly as we go along, we slowly start uncovering things history about what happened so. PLEASE GO AND READ THE NOVEL FIRST. After that you can watch it if you want. AGAIN I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GO AND READ THE NOVEL PLEASE. Because I've read it and It's one of my favorite and BEST Novels I've ever read.
Most of us will never know, cause it's still ain't subbed-.-
I've been anime fan since I was teenager. And recently caught a fever of Japanese drama/Movies, & most of the aren't subbed and probably will never get subbed so I started learning Japanese. well technically Hiragana then katakana and will learn kanji cause after I'm finish with this I will definitely get around to learn standard modern Chinese. And both traditional & simplified Mandarin.
