How can you forget about the Boya tunnel.That will be more scary than this in my opinion because I think it may broke the trust between them that had been built after so much efforts especially on ml's side because it is been really deficult for him to trust fl

For now, its like he is just admiring manman and has no plans to fight with wei shao and become enemies with him to fight for her.

Seriously like the past few costume cdramas I saw had a sad ending like I just want a happy ending no other types ending,for me there is only two types ending come and that is happy or sad and I like only happy ones.so I hope that it has happy ending.otherwise I will be scared to start another costume cdrama

When I first heard what he said ml then I thought that why he is saying like that but when I saw his words while painting about that hesitation is the is the biggest enemy of love than I rewind the earlier scene again and watch it carefully then I only understand that he was just using the reverse psychology on him and it really worked like how he spoke up for her against his every point against her

Actually he has already realised it but just because of his past truma of losing his family by the betrayal of fl's family is making him hesitate to whether he is allowed to fall for fl or not.
We can say that Mr.Zheng Si will be helping him to finally accepting the fact openly that he likes fl and also he should listen to his heart and let go of his past to start happily with fl.

In ep 19 when he said that "even heros falls for belles,too."after that scene and after watching the preview of ep 20 when ml asks wei Yan that if he is allowed to fall for manman clearly indicates that a part of his heart is aware of his feelings but maybe because she is from his enemie's family he is not admitting it.But when I saw earlier scene when they go to see the stars for forecasting although he was mesmerized by her beauty but he was unable to realise that she just want to spend alone time with her.Maybe he is just slow witted like the wei brother said

Just finished ep 18 so while waiting for ep 19 I thought I should share my thoughts on ep 18.
It was amazing but wei shao really pissed me off means literally how can he be so clueless. He can't see that fl just want to spend some time with him even that minister can also see that but he😑 I am lost of words now for him

Looks like we are gonna suffer because I can't wait to watch the episode .Maybe I should have starting to watch it after it finishes but at least you will accompany me in waiting for the next one daily 😊

It's true I really don't know what to tell about ml.Is he innocent or clueless? She literally expressing her feelings and emotions through action and words openly.
When will he also realise it and openly just admit the fact that he likes her.
If she can take an initiative so why he can't just grab it.I am also waiting for their kiss scene because their chemistry is making me insane I just want a kiss scene so badly.

But I think that is possible in this situation.You see ml hates the fl to the core from the start because she was from the family who betrayed his family so even if he is attracted from her beauty when he first saw her but he was also had his guard against her and even he fooled her and kicked out of her from Xindu.If you see even now he started to trust fl but he his still on guard against her in some matters.And ml at first repeatedly reminded her that she should not try to seduce him.
So when fl make that request he immediately agreed because he offcourse didn't trust her enough at that time so they both need their time to trust each other and slowly grow closer.So thai 1 year period is beneficial to them From their point of view to get to know that what kind of person the other one is.

The reference is that the one Wei Liang mentioned Geng who gave him the map is actually is himself because he is one who portrayed that character in that series name my heroic husband.

In my opinion,I think that fl asked 1 year for mourn for multiple reasons.
1. it's obviously that she wants to mourn for her grandfather.
2.she wants to get to know to ml because it's obvious that they are enemies and from the start they had their guard up against each other especially the ml.
3.she want ml to trust her because at first for all the things ml only doubted and blamed the fl just because she was from Qiao family.

You are right but the efforts fl doing for becoming a family with the wei is seen by ml and he has also seen that fl is what kind of person and that's why he started to trust fl.
Before ml also fooled fl and kicked her out of xindu but fl understood that it was for good of his people. It's also hard for fl to trust ml since he is also a enemy before their marriage but she started to trust. Even she was ready to take the blame for the grain matter even she was innocent for the ml,If fl can trust him then why he can't since he was so guarded against her after their marriage even to read her personal letters to her family.
But even someone instigate him in this matter and he started to doubt fl that means he never really trusted her enough to understand that what was her intentions of doing that.
and a relationship should be based on trust if it wants to work out otherwise even if this is solved there will be other matter he can't doubt her in every matter right

But if it doesn't harm wei State in any way I think the ml will understand like the way fl also understand ml in many way even if the ml does not say anything to her like in the letter matter also although she was angry but she understood that ml also has his reasons for it for the safety of his people and this case also fl is also only thinking about the people of her homeland without harming the his people

I have just started watching this drama after watching some clips on YT but I am so immersed in it the scenes between wei shao and manman are so cute and I am totally in love with them🥰🥰
